La Marquise Luxury Resort Complex

We stayed at La Marquise Hotel in Aug 2024 and had an overall enjoyable experience. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the exceptional service provided by the restaurant and bar staff. They were friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make every meal and drink feel special. The food quality was very good, with a great variety of dishes that were both delicious and beautifully presented. The hotel’s pools were another standout feature. They are well-maintained, spacious, and offer plenty of loungers all day long, making them perfect for a relaxing day under the sun. The only downside was the standard of the rooms, which are in need of refurbishment. While they were clean and functional, they didn’t quite match the high standard set by the rest of the hotel. We stayed in a private pool family suite which was lovely but the bathrooms were tiny and we had no internet access in the room for the best part of 5 out of our 7 day stay at the hotel which was disappointing. Overall, La Marquise Hotel is a great choice for its dining, service, and leisure facilities, and we hope to see the rooms updated soon to make it a truly exceptional destination.

Having married in a small ceremony in the UK my Wife & I decided to have ceremonial blessing in Rhodes as part of our honeymoon. We chose La Marquise as the venue for both our Honeymoon and Blessing and could not have been happier with everything. From the moment we arrived the service and professionalism of the hotel & it’s staff were 2nd to none. We found we had been upgraded to a private villa with it’s own pool which was fabulous and there was wine & flowers waiting for us. The bars & especially the restaurants are all excellent. Both the buffet and A la-carte restaurants serve delicious food of the highest quality with first rate service, nothing was ever too much trouble. The pork wellington was sublime! The arrangements for the blessing were equally superb. Every detail had been taken care of, down to ribbons on the buggy taking us to the ceremony. Flower arrangements, bouquet & button hole were exactly as we asked and were wonderfully fresh, especially given the 30 degree heat. The small church where the blessing took place was ideal, picturesque, quiet and beautifully presented. After the ceremony and photographs (Vlasos the photographer also did a superb job) the evening candlelight dinner with a delicious cake topped off the whole day wonderfully and when we returned to our villa a bottle of champagne & chocolate dipped strawberries were waiting for us. To cap off the celebrations a sumptuous breakfast was delivered to our villa the next morning. We would like to thank all the staff for their first-class professionalism & service, but especially Mr Michael Karayannis, the General Manager, Frank Frangiskos, the F&B Manager who brilliantly took personal charge of all the blessing arrangements and Nikos the Bar Manager for his fabulous cocktails. Anyone looking for the ideal venue for a wedding in the sun should look no further than La Marquise. This resort is truly 5 Star and they really care about giving their guests the absolute best experience. We will undoubtedly be going back to celebrate our wedding anniversary.

We have just returned from a fabulous 10 day holiday (16th to 26th October) at this wonderful hotel. This is our second visit and was as good if not better than our first trip in October '23 which, by the way, was excellent. I was impressed to be greeted by name by Stelios at Reception on arrival. We were given the same room as last year 1101 which is a Junior Suite with Sea View. I thoroughly recommend upgrading to this accommodation. Not only are the rooms very spacious and well appointed with great sea views but you also get the magic "Black Card" which allowed us access to 3 Al La Carte restaurants twice each during our stay plus one lunch at The Gondola Restaurant but also use of the rooftop breakfast area for our entire stay. We highly rated the food in all the restaurants including the Da Vinci Buffet Restaurant where there are Themed Food Nights. L'Etiolle and Asian Corner are quality restaurants, as is Grill Corner which we also found excellent. Although we were on an All Inclusive package, we did push the boat out to experience some great wines by the bottle from a pretty comprehensive wine list and not mega expensive. We were so well looked after by all the wonderfully friendly staff - too many to name individually but they know who they are. The Crystal Bar is a great space to spend time before retiring and the Luna Roof Bar is very welcoming and a great place to watch the sunset while sipping a Cocktail. The private beach is a short walk through the grounds and is magnificently cared for by Vasillios, a really helpful and friendly gentleman who is obviously very proud of HIS beach. All in all we are so happy to have returned to La Marquise and will definitely be rebooking for 2025. Many thanks to ALL the staff who made our holiday so memorable.

This is a superb hotel. We were here the last week of the summer season and we were fortunate to have fabulous weather. The rooms are spacious and clean with an additional sofa area. We were overlooking the pool with a balcony so it was lovely. The food was incredibly good. Usually with an all-inclusive buffet style after a few days I am desperate for a change but the food was varied, fresh and great quality. I am very intolerant to lactose and there was plenty for me to eat, and it was very clearly labelled with allergens. We dined at both the a la carte restaurants - Asian corner and Grill corner and these were excellent too. The last couple of days the hotel was really empty so lunch was a la carte at the pool bar. There wasn’t anything dairy free on the menu but they catered for me easily. Special shout out to Serva Georgia - she was so friendly and welcoming the whole time - excellent customer service! The all-inclusive drinks included a good choice of branded items and plenty of cocktails. There is only one small complaint but for me is not significant enough to lower my rating. I like a coffee by the pool in the morning but neither the beach bar or pool bar had any milk alternatives. This would be an easy fix to offer a better service to any vegans or milk intolerant/allergic guests. It was a bit of a walk to the lobby bar just to get coffee so I had to go without each day. Otherwise the whole vibe of this holiday and hotel was perfect for us and we would definitely consider returning in future years and we don’t do repeats generally. Thank you for a superb holiday!

La Marquise Hotel - Holiday September 2024 This was our very first stay in the La Marquise which we found not just for adults but ideal for families too. We were a family of 3 adults and 1 child, half board. We decided to go half board as our grandsons prefer to go to a friend’s bar during the evening not too far from the hotel. On our arrival at the hotel reception desk, we were greeted and checked in by the receptionist who was most helpful and very polite and arranged for the bellboy to take us to the Resort Complex in a buggy where our family suite room was situated not far away from the main building of the hotel who was also very polite. We found the 2 bedroomed family suite with balcony pool view were very spacious with a decent size bathroom, including separate bath and walk in shower. The room maids were excellent and always made sure our room was kept clean and spotless. The food in the hotel was excellent, with many choices of dishes available for all to eat. We always found the waiters in the main dining room gave an excellent service. Unable to comment on the other restaurants in the hotel as we never used them, but that was our choice as we were happy just dinning in the main restaurant. We noted that men weren’t allowed to wear shorts to come down for dinner which is what we would expect with it being 5-star hotel. They also have a nice pool bar which is open from 10am and just a short stroll away is the coffee house which serves wraps/brioche buns/pizza/cakes etc all really nice and worth a visit if you want a snack. If you are not one for walking down to the beach there is always a regular daily buggy ride from the main entrance of the hotel that takes you down to the beach and return. Or, if you prefer to relax by the swimming pool and get in the pool just to cool off, we can recommend that too. The Pool Attendant who we found always to be helpful during our stay was there to assist if you needed help with sunbeds and parasols etc. There is a lovely guy that generally comes down on the beach daily between 12.00pm and 12.30pm selling good fruit at a reasonable price which we can strongly recommend. You can visit Rhodes town and Faliraki either by bus or taxi. If you are a fit person, you may wish to walk down to a small shopping centre called Epsilon which is about 20 minutes’ walk where there is shops and bars. Bus fare cost 1.50 Euros to Epsilon shopping centre and 7.00 Euros to 12.00 Euros by taxi. Lastly, we would like to send a special thanks to all the staff for their hospitality, and customer service throughout our 1-week duration. We are so much looking forward to the next holiday already booked for 2025.
