Koa Kea Resort - the best!

Beautiful location, excellent facilities, comfortable accommodations and most important great team members! Each encounter was met with a smile and sincere greeting! Staff in all areas made me feel welcomed and were genuinely attentive to my needs and questions. Love visiting the property, great place to vacation and enjoy the local surroundings.

3.5 star hotel - not a luxury

Pros: - nice staff - clean rooms - great views Cons: - outdated rooms including bed - not sound proof roofs + super loud AC - having to valet every time you need your car (and you will need your car) is not convenient especially when you are 5 steps away from your car Overall: Not worth the high nightly price. Also while we were they were having photo shoots for their social media advertising which took away from relaxation since they were all over the common areas throughout the day with drones and multiple photographers etc. They only let us know of this the day before so we couldn’t change our reservation and had to leave for those couple days during the day since it wasn’t a relaxing environment with full production going on.

Great Stay!

Great Stay! Welcoming and thoughtful staff. I had a nice quiet, relaxing stay here. It was our first time to Kauai so we weren’t sure of the best places to go, but the staff was more than willing to share the recommendations of what to see while we were there. The best part about Ko’a Kea’s location is that it’s very close to Poipu Beach, but far enough from the busyness of it.

This resort was exactly what we hoped for - amazing location, kind staff, comfortable rooms, beautiful amenities, and delicious food. The resort is simple in the best way, but elegant and comfortable. We will stay here again if we are lucky enough to return!

Perfect for couples

Beautiful grounds to watch the sunset. Mornings observed humpback whales (Nov-March), surfers, and a few brave snorkels (strong current in the hotel bay) from 3rd floor balcony. Green turtles and a Monk Seal come on shore every evening to sleep, returning to ocean in the morning (short beach walk to area). Dinner was excellent. Service is professional and kind, like the entire island - Mahalo 💖
