Dont get confussed... "Kirman hotels" are a chain and have circa 6 hotels. This hotel Leodikya and hotel Arycanda deluxe are side by side and share some external facilities such as the aqua park (x5 slides), beach area, playground and kids water park. We spent 10 days at hotel Leodikya, on first appearance it has a grand reception area and most areas are kept clean and maintained although some areas are showing signs of age. The website and advertising... The website depicts a 5 star (European) hotel with a Michelin star quality this is not the case and pretty much false advertising if within EU law. Reviews... Before we chose this hotel we read over 50 reviews fully on google and trip advisor, both gave around a 4.8 star rating. God knows how! We feel that this is either fake reviewing somewhere down the line or it is piggybacking off the sister hotel which is slightly nicer (still not 4.8 stars) or the hotel has declined. Room.- 2 bedroom family room land facing The room was clean and reasonably presented, the room was cleaned very well everyday. The room was a little dark and didn't have much natural or internal lighting. The rear of the hotel backs onto a road that is fairly busy this wouldn't be so bad if the noise was limited once the doors were shut, this is certainly not the case we were woken atleast 4 or 5 times a night (every night) with either the neighbouring rooms, local mosques (call to pray) or a bus engine braking. Food and beverages- We had high expectations considering the reviews and the website advertising, however we were disappointed, each night was meant to feature different cuisine this did not happen and each meal was 90% the same food on offer (mostly canteen style) also make sure the kids like chips or pasta (beware of the spicy tomato sauce). However that said some of the food was nice such as the fresh bread and traditional desserts. The cakes looked great but unfortunately lack sweetness this seems to be a Turkish thing not just this hotel. The hotel offered an average selection of beverages. Beers limited to one only (Efes) Standard range of cocktails (over use of cartoon juices not freshly made) Some standard spirits Pool area... The hotel has a centre piece pool split in two with an ample amount of sunbeds (no towel marking required) however this is due to the pool temperature being freezing so it has very limited use and most people go to the beach as the sea is warmer a lot warmer. An indoor heated pool is available. The hotel shares the kids water play area with the sister hotel next door this is also freezing. NOTE ... the aqua park and kids water play area only opens for 4hrs of the day for some crazy reason. 10.00 to 12.00 and 14.00 to 16.00. Service... The service was ok, some staff were attentive some were grumpy and it almost felt they were doing you a favour. Certainly not 5 star standards. The pool rollerskating lad was good. The QR code ordering system by the pool area is great. Cleaning... Like I said earlier the cleaning services are good and you can see that they work hard to keep the areas clean and tidy. Entertainment... This depends on age I think below 10 yrs old would be entertained and enjoy it. The night entertainment was ok but if you are paying a top price you would expect some class acts from time to time. Summary... This is a 4 star hotel even at Turkey standards, we have visited Turkey a few times and have stayed in some exceptional hotels for the same price. This hotel maybe suitable for some people's expectations but the big factors for us are kids being entertained and decent food if that is also your drivers then probably consider another hotel. This hotel has the foundations to be a great 5 star offering and most of what is lacking are easy wins.
