Keraton Jimbaran Beach Resort

A dated hotel, room large and spacious with air con. It was cleanish, but the linen has seen better days, the white towels are now grey, and some stains on the bedding. The bathroom was tired and a bit smelly. The door key was so worn we struggled to open the door. The grounds are well kept but do not look as good as photos on websites. Breakfast ok, but all the food uncovered, so flies landing on all. Not the hotels fault, but there is nothing nearby, no nice restaurants or shops. The beach was dirty, as is the surrounding area, lots of rubbish. You would need taxis or a scooter to get anywhere and if you didn't know, traffic in Bali is horrendous. 2 hours to travel 15km at best. I would not recommend based on the location and scruffy surrounding area .

Review hotel: Beware of booking this hotel. The pictures posted on line are most definetelly very old and do not reflect the neglect of this property. The room are filthy dirty, they smell musty, the wall have holes that does not protect you from the wild life animals living the outside of the rooms. The hotel beach is incredibly dirty, the chairs and mattresses of the chairs are so worn out that it makes you wonder when was is the last time the this hotel purchased new equipment. Now, while someone can still get over the questionable structure, what truly made us check out literally two hours after we arrived, is the dishonesty of the staff. My wife and I went to the restaurant to have some food, (which by the way was absolutely disgusting, cooked with pour quality ingredients, most definitely not from the local fish market and most definetelly stored in the freezer for extensive time). While dining at the restaurant, the server and a lady working there, were clearly annoyed that we bothering their quite afternoon.there were literally no visible customers in the show restaurant or resort. The whole feeling was bizarre to say the least. At the restart those two individuals, attempted to rent a scooter for 250.000 Indonesian rupias a day, not knowing better I agreed. While waiting for the scooter to arrive, I learned that the same type of scooter is available anywhere in jimbaran a for about 70000 per day. I confronted the person and told them that I did not appreciate their dishonesty. Overall in two hours this hotel managed to give me a reasons to literally check out and go to another hotel where I felt safer and more appreciated as a customer. These guys are absolutely terrible and won’t do absolutely nothing to make you feel safe or appreciated. While everywhere else in Bali we had only great experiences, this place is the worry I have ever seen in my entire life. Beware of this scammers
