First-time resort stayers!

Visiting from Australia, this was our first time staying at a resort of this calibre. Incredible service from check-in, massage services, food and beverage services, to check-out. Amenities are clean and gardens well maintained. Rooms are spacious and relaxing throughout. Will be returning here in the future, highly recommend to all friends and family.

Amazing place to stay

An amazing place, beautiful location for a relaxing break. The staff were fantastic and always helpful. Out of the way but it doesn't matter when it's such a gorgeous place to chill out. You can book a taxi/driver to take you out and about if you want. As others have said, there are critters here.......enjoy them being there, just relax and accept it's their home too. We had pool suite and it was huge with amazing views. Food is good in the restaurant and the service was brilliant. We were only here for 3 nights, only wish it could have been more and will hopefully be back soon.

The direction and road leading to the resort can be tasting especially at night. Narrow road and no streetlamp. It's a sanctuary by itself and it's excellent just to relax and enjoy the natural surroundings. Far from any amenities and it's inconvenient to move around. Private chartered car is a must; no Grab no Gojek; unless you take local taxi booked via hotel. Moving from room to lobby and dining areas requires much walking up the slope/stairs (cos the hotel is like perched on hill). You can ask for a buggy service (they have 2) and are subject to waiting time if many requests. Room was splendid and view was canopy. WiFi was strong. Room came with complimentary packs of chips and 3 cans of soft drinks. Toilet has no door and showering could be cold cos of air-conditioning. Breakfast was simple. Buffet spread of basic menu like drinks and pastries. One could order from menu. I find this was good cos less wastage. Overall, resort personnel were polite and attentive! Overall, if you are looking for total relaxation and privacy, this is good. But if you are looking for getting out and streets walking, it's totally out.

The breakfast was so limited and hasn't changed the 7 nights we stayed there. No cheese, no olive and the omelette guys was a nightmare. The hotel rooms view was good. Pool was good and had a great scenery. Since the villa we booked was downhill from the lobby we had to take the buggy (golf kart) The drivers were so reckless, the buggy had no safety buckles or belts and you sit facing backwards, it was a terrible ride every time. Rooms were not insulated, when it rained you cannot sleep from the sound of the rain and river. Doors and windows are hand crafted wood with no sealant. Some of them has like 1 cm crack. We had a lizard that is 7 cm at least, in our sealing and it was there for the whole week. Staff were soo lazy.
