Kagi Maldives Spa Island

My husband and I stayed at the Kagi Maldives Resort and Spa for our honeymoon, and it was the holiday of a lifetime. From the moment we stepped onto the island we felt like we were in paradise. Our concierge Jasmine was super helpful and made our stay very special, going above and beyond throughout our stay, but in particular for my 30th birthday. She booked our a la carte reservations for us and made sure we didn't miss out, she also kept us updated on the excursions we were booked for, and most of all she was very friendly and happy to answer any questions. We stayed in an ocean villa and we were amazed at the facilities - there's nothing better than a shower in the outdoor shower after a long day in the sun! The private pool is such an extra indulgence, and on our last night we watched a pod of dolphins swim past waving us goodbye. It was like a fairytale! The snorkelling is amazing at the resort, we saw turtles, sharks, and an eagle ray - all within about 10m of our villa! The house reef is amazing and there's so much to explore that we could have spent longer here. However, we do also want to mention how amazing the Big 5 safari with Eurodivers. We saw upwards of 10 turtles at one location - truly magical, and something we won't forget anytime soon. The reefs on the excursion were so beautiful, it's worth going on an excursion just to see the beautiful corals on this other island. The leader of the excursion was so friendly and made everyone feel welcome and safe on each trip. She also created a video for us to keep with clips of us in it as well as the amazing wildlife she captured during the day. It was fantastic and we would really recommend booking a trip. Our favourite activity was the wine & cheese tasting, we felt it was incredibly special & well thought out. Dennis provided us with the most amazing wine and cheese tasting. He was incredibly knowledgeable and put together an amazing charcuterie board to go with each of the 4 wines, and each pairing he suggested was incredible! We barely had anymore room but because we had booked to go to the a la carte Nonna's, Dennis arranged for us to have our meal in the wine cellar. He truly went above and beyond, and we had the best time. We also want to thank the amazing wait staff at the restaurants, in particular Dorji, Zune, and Farah who were really friendly and always made sure our glasses were topped up. The only thing I want to point out is that this is not an adults only resort. Although we had an amazing time, and the kids didn't bother us too much, we had booked this trip on the premise that the resort was adults only, so we felt slightly let down that this was not the case. However, as I said previously this trip was the holiday of a lifetime for us, and an amazing place to spend our honeymoon. I hope we'll be back soon :)

This was our 2nd visit to Kagi . Beautiful small island with only 50 Villas . We had a sunrise lagoon water villa (215) at the end of the board walk which was super quiet and private . The same villa for both visits. Good selection of activities …we enjoyed the early morning stretch/yoga 7.30am and coffee by the pool before breakfast ..Bee was really attentive noticed you had arrived and bringing our coffees. MARIA took some incredible sound bath and meditation session in Baani spa with doors folded back and the sound of the ocean . Perfect timing to feel completely relaxed and after watch the sunset 🥂🍹. Mr T was hesitant to start with …but soon enjoyed the sessions …thanx MARIA SUNSET YOGA on the jetty was a brilliant experience. We mostly enjoyed lunchtime at the Baani spa with fresh juices sushi..Sashimi or small creative salads nice and light with relaxed vibes and looked after by ZUNE NooFaru ..Buffet restaurant always had a good selection of dishes .. Breakfast…lunch or Dinner. from seafood to curries & fresh pasta & vegetarian …live cooking stations .. Also 2 Ala-Carte Nonna & Ke-Un with lovely settings for dinner. CHATHURA Sri Lankan chef spoiled us on our last lunch with an incredible selection of Sri Lakan dishes which were his family recipes…..was DELICIOUS…..Thank you Chathura . Chef O’BRIAN and his team work extremely hard …Chef O’Brian always on hand to help guests in NooFaru All the staff on Kagi are super friendly and nothing is too much trouble without being OTT thank you everyone. Was good to see some familiar faces and catch up Kani & Basil. THE REEF …. We swam 2-3 times daily …always something new to see. The reef is very pretty and full of life .. Sharks .Turtles ..rays ..lion fish ..etc .. It’s our favourite house reef . We look forward to a return visit . T&T 😎

It was truly an amazing place that gave us unforgettable memories. Everything in the hotel—from the facilities to the service—was of high quality, and we didn’t experience any issues during our stay. Even if there had been, the staff was always ready to respond promptly, creating a truly comfortable and exceptional experience. We are especially grateful to Jasmine, a staff member at the hotel, who supported us with such care and attention to detail. Since we were visiting for our honeymoon, we also had our photos taken, and the photographer, Sundaram, captured beautiful moments for us. If you visit Kagi, I highly recommend booking a photo session as well. We tried many activities such as scuba diving, snorkeling, and the sunset boat, and overall, this trip became our best one yet. Wow the most beautiful place! Everything from the moment we arrived was perfect. Kagi is a very special place, a tiny Island and so so beautiful. Hotel is amazing and the staff make your stay truly perfect. House Reef is amazing, accommodation is lovely, clean, very well equipped, everything is of a great standard. We had a lagoon villa which was perfect. Food excellent along with everything else. Exceeded all our expectations. Will definitely be visiting again.
