Northern Atolls luxury holidays

I am a big foodie, I had heard food in the Maldives was something special but this food simply took my breath away. The way the food was presented to me on a plate the plate playing second place to what was being presented to me was something to be seen, cant tell you what I enjoyed more the Lobster or the deserts? all with a stunning back drop of white sandy beaches and turquoise sea. Quite frankly  the stuff dreams are made of.

Loved the version of the Niyama kids club - mocktails - dolphin trip - movie nights and all the expected stuff as well.

We were treated like royalty by they the team nothing would bother them to help us in any way at all.

Mary was our Butler on the island and all the questions and requests were dealt with in a wonder way (I do wonder if she thought some were a bit daft). Bodumas Restaurant was a great experience other half is allergic to Seafood somehow they managed to make him food with without even a hint of a issue.  

Anantara chef Joahim Textor is amazing menus, so many inspiring dishes to try and I did 'try'. the Hotel is doing a great job in encouraging the house reef to flourish. Nights were spent looking out to sea watching the moon come out and the amazing stars they are so very bright. There is a telescope on the island so we could get a better look. 

We had a great trip to the island everthing went so well. Its a absolute joy to have the baggage taken from you when you arrive then by magic they arrive in the room. Something to look out for is the fish feeding at the reef at 8.30 the fish seemed to like it. 

It was our honeymoon and we had booked for a beach villa upon arrival we found out our family had gotten together and had us upgraded to Ocean Villa for the last 4 days of our 8 day stay. 

The hammocks on the beach are a wonderful addition to the beach. I could of stayed there for at least another 3 weeks but we needed to come home to reality. 

Seaplane arrival just like fantasy island great start to our holiday. Our over water villa had parts of the floor removed and replaced with glass so very cool get to see all the little fishes. So many personal touches to our time spent on the island each one with loving care from the guys who work there, they spend most of their time away from home making other people holidays so like fairy tale. Thank you so much.  

Live band each night were really entertaining knew a whole range of different music, there was a team of butlers looking us and they most certainly did, felt pampered and spoilt every day. the weather rained a bit and for the most part it was perfect the colours of the Maldives they say is where God learnt to paint.

A luxury holiday on a island in paradise with the sky and the sea being the most bluest blues you can ever imagine. There are bikes to cycle about the island with our initials on. We experienced a few firsts a dinner on the sand bank was something that doesn't happen often. 

We have now a brand new PADI license each and we had the call from 'Manta On Call' we were nearby but we were just a bit late to see them.
