Hurawalhi Island Resort

Our stay at Hurawalhi Island Resort was truly exceptional! Everything was impeccable from the very first moment, when we landed in Malé and were warmly welcomed by the resort’s representative, who flawlessly organized every detail of our seaplane transfer. At the resort, we were given a truly grand welcome by CEO Akira and by Yum, who took wonderful care of us throughout our stay. It is hard to find the right words to express how grateful we are to Yum for all her attention and kindness! She even let us use her personal GoPro camera for underwater filming. She was there for us 24/7! We grew very fond of her and already miss her dearly! The entire resort staff was exceptionally kind and attentive — compliments to everyone! The food was outstanding, especially at Kashibo and the 5.8 Undersea Restaurant, as well as at Canneli, particularly during the seafood buffet. For lunch, we highly recommend the JFK restaurant, which offers an excellent selection. All in all, this was my third stay in the Maldives and by far the most beautiful one, even though I had previously stayed at outstanding resorts such as Anantara and Waldorf Astoria. Hurawalhi is truly a unique experience, and we will most certainly return! Much love to Yum, Iman, Akira, Azid, Tulsa, Jessica, and everyone else who made our stay so special and enriched our lives!

We absolutely loved the island. Excellent facilities, everything very well maintained, and impeccable service. Zayan was our concierge and truly made a difference—always available to arrange jet ski rentals, dinners, and any requests quickly and efficiently. An amazing experience in the Maldives, with comfort, exclusivity, and top-level service. We will definitely be back.

Hurawalhi was top notch! From the welcome to the farewell. Food was high quality and delicious. Anas was our host and he was attentive and was happy to help with anything. Our luggage was lost by the airline and Anas was aware of it by the time we arrived and handled locating and making sure that we received it timely. In the meantime, the resort provided us with clothing to wear so we could change out of our travel clothes! Jessica was an amazing server who recognized us whenever we saw her and knew exactly what we wanted each morning for breakfast (Still and sparking water, Americanos, etc). She was always smiling and you could tell she enjoyed her work. Her smile was infectious and we loved how excited she was when the dolphins came by during breakfast. The spa was absolutely wonderful (and I get a LOT of massages). I ended up having 3 different massages while I was there because they were so good. Each masseuse was top notch. Everything at the resort was clean and beautiful.

We had a fabulous experience from the moment we were greeted at the resort - to our final day awaiting departure. Our island host,Zayan, provided us with outstanding assistance in our visit. This personal touch made us feel at home without being intrusive. We loved the 5.8 restaurant and also Kashibo. The food at both was amazing. Normally we do not enjoy buffets, however, the resort’s breakfast, lunch and dinner were exceptional. The attendant for our room was also outstanding and provided immediate service when we needed our clothes cleaned. My massage at the spa was one of best I have experienced with a highly trained massuese. The many servers at the main restaurant were also excellent. The ocean villa was a dream come true with steps to the lagoon a short distance from our lanai. The water was a mesmerizing color with rays, turtles, and baby sharks greeting us. The beach something you only see in postcards. A huge thank you to the resort for making our dream come true.
