Official Description

Hurawalhi is an enchanting private island surrounded by a beautiful lagoon, excellent house reef and long stretches of white sandy beach. The only Resort on the island, Hurawalhi is about 400 meters long by 165 meters wide, about 6.5 hectares (16 acres). Your direct seaplane transfer from Velana International Airport is a scenic, 40 minute flight.

An Unforgettable Honeymoon at Hurawalhi

Our honeymoon at Hurawalhiwas honestly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, everything felt peaceful, beautiful, and effortlessly relaxing. Everywhere we looked, the views were just stunning—like something out of a dream—and it created the perfect setting for such a special trip. We loved the diving—the water was incredibly clear, the marine life was amazing, and the guides made the whole experience fun and comfortable. The food throughout the resort was consistently great too; every meal felt thoughtful and delicious. And the undersea restaurant… wow. It was easily one of the most memorable meals of our lives, both for the food and the magical atmosphere. All the arrangements, from activities to dining to transport, were smooth and easy, which let us truly relax and enjoy ourselves. And of course, a huge heartfelt thank‑you to Elio. Her warmth, kindness, and genuine care made such a difference. She really went above and beyond for us, and we’re so grateful for everything she did to make our honeymoon so special.

We have visited for fifth time, and yet again our stay at Hurawalhi was absolutely unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The General Manager, Akira, is truly outstanding – professional, attentive, and genuinely caring about every guest’s experience. The food deserves special praise as well. Chef Hershel’s cuisine is simply amazing – every meal was beautifully presented and full of flavor, making dining one of the highlights of our stay. And the deserts are heavenly. The evenings at Hurawalhi were just as special. The music in the evenings is fantastic. A very special thank you goes to our island host, YUM, who felt like a second mother to us. Her warmth, kindness, and constant support made us feel completely at home. Hurawalhi is a paradise not only because of its natural beauty, but also because of the incredible people and experiences that make every guest feel truly special. We cannot wait to return.

My time at Hurawalhi was defined by the warmth and attentiveness of the staff, as well as management that was clearly involved and responsive, which gave the resort a much more intimate, boutique-style feel. The food was a real highlight throughout my stay — the Canneli restaurant offered an impressive, ever-changing selection of international and local dishes, and the experience at the 5.8 Undersea Restaurant was truly one of a kind and unforgettable. Evenings were relaxed yet fun, especially on Fridays when DJ AJ sets by the Coco Bar and pool created a lively atmosphere with a subtle 90s throwback vibe. Overall, Hurawalhi delivered an ideal adults-only escape, blending calm, beautiful surroundings during the day with great service, memorable dining, and enjoyable nightlife after sunset. Definitely a recommendation from me, and a guaranteed comeback.
