What can we say, Absolutely Outstanding👍 Our 10 night stay at Hurawalhi Maldives From the moment we landed in Male we were looked after like a king and queen. Once at the resort we were introduced to Ali our personal island host. Nothing was too much for him; he would book activities for us or see if we needed anything in the room. He also provided us with some canopies and a bottle of Tattinger champagne near the end of our 10 night stay on our deck, to watch the sunset. He would see us in the morning for breakfast and maybe later, but he was always on the end of a WhatsApp message. We have been to other resorts in the Maldives but the food here was first class, everything you could possibly want beautifully presented. We were all inclusive and were never hungry. We normally have a large breakfast, no lunch and a meal at night, which is more than enough for us. A vast amount of alcohol was available on the all-inclusive. We had lunch one day in the 5.8 underwater restaurant, stunning, definitely a must do. We had the land based meal, having 5 courses was very filling even though they looked small portions. Also we would recommend the wine pairing with the meals. All the Restaurant staff including Dylan, Salaam and Balaam were fantastic in serving you and always kept asking if you were good, or needed anything. We stayed in a romantic overwater sunset view villa no.206, brilliant accommodation, massive bed and everything you could need. All toiletries are provided and were very nice. Beach towels in the villa. The only criticism we had is that there is not a lot of shade in the afternoon on the deck and the umbrella was a little small to provide shade for both sunbeds. When we first arrived it was thundery with heavy rain showers, but after a couple of days the heat started ramping up. It became very hot 33 degrees with a nice breeze, but still very hot compared to England’s 5 or 6 degrees, so do keep up with the high SPF sun cream. There is sunscreen, after sun and insect repellent in the villa, but not sure of the SPF, so bring your own if fussy. We went snorkeling with the in house marine biologist on the house reef which was fabulous. This was definitely the best resort we have visited in the Maldives by far. Well done to all the staff for a fantastic holiday. Sean & Fay
