Resort in disrepair. Needs maintenance & modernizing

The resort is in a state of disrepair. I wouldn't stay here again. Let these images speak for themselves. Keep in mind, we were there a week and the cordoned off stairwell was untouched the entire time. Shower door was misaligned and the metal frame coming loose. The toilet leaked at the base where it meets the floor, the ice maker didn't work and the room had a musty odor to it, not quite moldy smelling but a damp smell.

Not enough parking, you may find someone parked directly behind you, making it difficult to back out. The TV remotes are very odd. If you are in a lockoff suite, you will very clearly hear every word they say when they return from their fun theme park visit at 11 pm

Great family resort!

This is our 4th time visiting and first time experiencing less than friendly staff. (Most of them are great)! The bartender near the turtle pool was very rude. The pool towels need to be given at the pool. We made 2 requests today for new pool towels and still did not receive them. Other requests earlier in the week were filled very quickly. Overall we love this resort!

Underwhelming and seemingly cheap

For a Hilton Grand Vacations property, we were not impressed. Looks to be a former Diamond Resort not yet fully updated to Hilton standards. Everything looked tired and worn. Everytime we stay with HGV, we enjoy the availability of in-unit washer and dryer. The units now have a single wash/dry combo machine that takes over 3.5 hours to complete a cycle. And wash loads must be small. We gave up with 4 of us there and just washed what we could and hung up Everything to dry on hangers. Shower in primary bathroom was difficult to turn on and find the temperature. We were also annoyed with daily "seat savers" around both pools for large groups. We all shared 1 lounge chair and my husband pulled up a literal folding chair and sat. Not sure why people think it's ok, but sending a family member down to "mark spots" with a book on a chair or a random box of cheezits, or a towel was a daily frustration. We inquired with concierge who said it was first come first serve, but these people didn't show up. Just annoying. As members who pay maintenance fees annually, we just want to enjoy our hard earned money's worth. The resort is very small in comparison to others. Our room was a nice size, and we enjoy the full kitchen. Our location this time around was not the greatest, with our lanai view of the parking lot. We will not stay here again.

Great Disney Location and beautiful property

Ive stayed across the street at Cypress point which is also a Hilton facility . Both of these resorts are very clean and the pools, rooms and properties are wonderful. Hilton Vacation Grand Villas does have a elevator which is a big difference if your in a 3 bedroom on the 3rd floor with luggage . there are 2 pools and if that is full you can use Cyrpess point pool.
