Nice hotel, be careful when you book

It is really good for families, relaxing and safe. The hotel is a short drive from Dalaman airport so very convenient. Some different places to eat and drink. We're very likely to go back in 2025. However... we didn't realise that our last day was the last day the resort was open. We booked through Travel Republic and it wasn't clear that bars and restaurants would be scaling back and closing earlier than our last day. Having registered a complaint, we have been told that some of the bars and restaurants closed as advertised/expected on 31st October. That certainly wasnt obvious to us and looking at their website, I can't see any information for 2025 on scheduled opening/closing or bars and restaurants. It was quite disconcerting to not be sure what was still going to be open on the last couple of days. Edit: I have just been pointed to the small print that says "some of the facilities may only be available seasonally" - which could of course mean anything. In summary, we'd go back, but wouldn't want to be there in the last 2 or 3 days of the season. So be a bit careful when booking.

Hilton Sarigerme: A Family-Friendly, Allergy-Aware Paradise in Turkey

This was our first visit to Turkey, and we chose to stay with our children at the Hilton Sarigerme. We booked a lake house room with step access to a private pool area, which provided a wonderful sanctuary for unwinding and peaceful sunbathing when one of us needed a break! The layout was well thought out, and it was kept very clean with daily replenishment of the mini bar drinks and snacks. There were plenty of entertainment options for the children, including a fantastic kids’ club (for teens, tweens, and younger ones), an art school, ping-pong and foosball areas, plus several pool options. The kids club staff were great and we had no issues leaving our children in their care for a couple of hours each day. The main pool area isn’t heated, but it’s a welcome cooldown in the hot climate. The two children’s pools and the spa pool offer heated alternatives. My husband and I treated ourselves to a Turkish hammam and massage, while our daughter, who turned 11 on our trip, enjoyed a children’s spa treatment, including nail polish, an aloe vera facial, and a massage. Huge thanks to Huseyn for arranging this! The spa therapists were fantastic, and we managed to do this while our youngest had a great time at the kids’ club. We did venture out of the resort for a day to Göcek which was arranged for us by Nazli. It is a gorgeous town 30mins from Sarigerme where we were able to take a boat trip to a couple of bays, swim in the sea and enjoy a freshly prepared lunch. It was a truly magical day which we won’t forget. The food options were excellent. Our daughter has a dairy and nut allergy, and the team provided us with an allergy card on arrival. We were able to pre-book her meals via WhatsApp messaging with guest relations. We mostly stuck to the buffet as it offered more options for her, but for her birthday, we went to Tao Chinese restaurant, where she enjoyed sushi, noodles, and a specially prepared vegan, nut-free birthday cake. It made her day so special! The beach bar was also very accommodating, and honestly, the whole resort took her allergies very seriously, which was incredibly reassuring. We often went here for sunset and a live DJ set which we all enjoyed. My only minor criticism would be that, as it was the end of the tourist season and the hotel was preparing to close, certain items like oat milk ran out and weren’t replenished, and the evening buffet staff was a bit sparse. However, a senior team member quickly stepped in to help with our daughter’s pre-ordered meal, and the guest relations assistant, Moira, assured us they’d work to improve this in the future. Evening entertainment was a lot of fun, with various shows and live music. For younger kids who found it a bit loud, they offered a movie night at the kids club with beanbags and popcorn, which was a hit. Overall, I would say if you’re contemplating a stay at this hotel, go for it! We will certainly be returning 🤩

Fantastic All-Inclusive Resort

We spent a week here and loved every second of it. The pools are wonderful. There is a separate pool area for adults only which was nice. The room we had was a split villa with an upstairs area and a downstairs area so our group of 5 were able to have separation when desired. The food they serve in the all you can eat area was divine. Go early though so you can get a nice table for dinner. Outdoor seating is the first to go. We did try one of the A la carte locations (Alize Italian Restaurant) and it too was equally good but you need to make a reservation and there is a cover fee. There was also a few small shack that had various foods which we stopped at periodically. Our favorite spot to hang out was probably Citrus Patisserie & Bar where we drank gallons of iced coffees. They also host a Tombala (Turkish Bingo) there daily and the first day there I won it to claim a nice bottle of champagne. :) The hotel has a private beach and the chairs and umbrellas are free to use. It gets quite windy in the afternoons there so if you want to swim, do it early in the day as the waves will be much smaller. There is also a nice chill bar on the beach. The kids club there was hands down the best I've seen. My child was thrilled to spend hours there and we had no concerns whatsoever leaving them there: simply fantastic staff. Other activities I tried: Rifle shooting (air pellets), Mini Golf, Dart tournaments (Game of Killer), Kayaking, watching footie on the tele, and some of our group did the aquasize classes. Apart from that it was just eating, drinking, swimming, eating, suntanning, eating, walking, and did I mention eating? Vacation perfection. I'd go back in a heartbeat.

I have been fortunate to have visited this fantastic Hotel Resort many times (38 holidays!) Obviously the 5 star food, resturant(s) are top standards but what makes the experience so brilliant is the A.M.A.Z.I.N.G hotel staff, and customer service 👏👏👏 And of course the quality, service and all round value for money is brilliant. Well done Hilton Dalaman Team 😎

Always so incredible

This was our 6th time at the hotel. We absolutely love going with our little boy as it’s so consistently great each time we go. The food is so fresh and there is so much variety to choose from. The staff are incredible. To name a few Yulia the entertainment supervisor we have known since our very first visit in 2017 and we have grown to adore her. She is such a driven and motivated hard worker we hope her dreams come true. Hussen the spa representative is one of the nicest men we have met. Again we have got to know him I’ve the last few years and We hope to see him again, he is so personable and professional always getting us booked in the amazing spa exactly when we want too!!! Erdi and Senel yildiz are two are the hardest working and professional waiters we know we always love having our meals with them. They always go the extra mile, also Charlski (not sure on spelling) at the breeze bar, also a long term staff member, we missed him in June when he went back to the army to serve. The kids club is great for all ages and we love the staff there they always remember our little boy which makes him feel special. He is always safe and looked after well. Selba in the fitness centre is so lovely too we always have a chat and her classes look amazing. We loved the staff at the lake house bar, no.2 the cocktails were so lovely this year. I’m hoping I’ve not missed more people as they really are incredible. Lastly a massive thank you to Sadar for our help with our accommodation. His communication is always so personal, professional and prompt. We really do appreciate everything he does for us. We have booked again for next October with the hope to come in June again.
