However, we went to Hilton Dalaman in August 2023 and had such a lovely time, that we went back this year. Unfortunately, we couldn't get the same room as last year and the only 'reasonably' priced room we could get in the main hotel was a deluxe swim up room. After a day of travelling, when we were shown to our room, our hearts just sank. There was nothing deluxe about it whatsoever. It was so dark and the wallpaper was coming away from the wall, or looked filthy. The room hadn't even been made up for 4 of us. I am not sure what was deluxe about it! We went back to reception and the guy we spoke to was very helpful and showed us an alternative room - it was a 2 bedroom family suite on the first floor, with a private balcony. It was light and airy and felt less depressing. We had already spent alot on this holiday but were being told that this room was much dearer than the other and even though it was vacant, the best the hotel could do, was charge approximately 15% on top of our original budget. We were tired, so felt like we had no other option if we wanted to have a chance of having a good holiday. paid for the 'upgrade' which really frustrated me, as we didn't want a more spacious room....just a a cleaner one. On top of that, the standard of the hotel has dipped. We lost count of how many times we had no fresh towels in the room and had to call and ask; how our bins were emptied in the room, but didn't make it out of the room and were just left on the floor; how the beds were not properly remade or changed with fresh sheets in our 10 day stay! The breeze bar at lunch we loved last year, but this year, food and drink orders were wrong on numerous occasions, to the point that i stopped going for lunch. I don't like writing negative reviews and whilst the hotel has alot going for it, we just felt like the standard had slipped. The saving grace was the beach bar and the bar on the hill with the amazing views out to sea and the mountains.

Family all inclusive bliss

A great family resort on the beach. We stayed with three families in the lake houses. We pretty much had our own private pool. Rooms are great, staff are super friendly, and the food was excellent. Loads for the kids to do. We barely saw them for 10 days!! Facilities are great. Special mention to Berkun in the gym which is brand new and equipped with the highest spec equipment...

Fantastic hotel for families, loads for the kids to do, food and drink all top notch, staff are friendly, entertainment was brilliant, beach party was cool, room was lovely, air con was perfect. Best thing of all, the two trips we booked from the hotel. Mud baths and boat trip to see the turtles and the tombs at Caunos was amazing,shout out to Kerim for being an exceptional guide. And best til last, the introductory scuba diving trip booked with Cihan at the hotel. I took my 8 and 10 year old daughters, and with the incredible approach from the instructors, both girls were able to dive to 5 meteres having never done it before. They loved every minute. Cihan and his team are just superb, i highly recommend this activity.

Amazing family friendly hotel resort!

What a fantastic hotel! My family & I loved every minute of our stay here in July 2024. We upgraded to a lake house villa & although approximately £100 a night more than a standard room it was in my opinion absolutely worth it & it made our holiday what it was! Lake house villas have a private outside area with loungers & a lazy river style pool that goes along the foot of the villas of which there are not that many. It’s a wonderful option to have a quiet & private alternative to the main pool area. Between each row of lake houses you’ll find snack & drinks bars with jacuzzi pools exclusively for lake house guests. We split our days between the main pool area & our own more private pool area at the lake house. The main restaurant is huge & has excellent food options & it was where we had breakfast & some dinners. Lunch was better at the pool bars & restaurants… our favourite lunch spot was the Breeze Bar. The staff were all very friendly & helpful. We had a great time chatting to the local staff& they were so kind & helpful to the family. A range of specialist pre book theme restaurants were also great although you do have to pay for the upgrade approximately £30 per adult. The Italian & Teppanyaki was very good! The beach looked nice but we didn’t use it as we preferred the pool area & water slides area! The Carpi kids club was just amazing! Kids could be pre booked into this & parents could also stay with their kids too. There is a kids only water park, trampolines, swings, slides, Play houses, Lego & ice cream area! The evening entertainment was just amazing! Various acts & shows performed on stage each night. We really enjoyed every show! All in all we had a wonderful time & we plan to return in future (and we never go back to the same place again normally!) Thank you to everyone at Hilton in Sarigerme. We love the Turkish people & their wonderful hospitality!

Super visit with extended family

We stayed for a week as part of a large (10+) family group including multiple generations and ages from toddler, young children and upwards. Overall, everyone had a great time. It seems a lot of thought has gone into the design and organization of the resort as the number and variety of activities and facilities meant that there was plenty for each family member. A good example here was the balance and number of places to eat throughout the day - no matter the time, you could get a drink, snack or meal without any issues. Although it was very busy when we visited, we found bars and restaurants to be well-staffed with almost everyone being hard working, friendly and doing their best to ensure we were well looked after. A big thank you to photographer Lip, who did his absolute best to ensure we came away with a number of fantastic photographs of the family, not easy to do given the number of us and short attention spans of the children but Lip's enthusiasm and care meant we have some great images to treasure. Thank you to everyone at the resort and we look forward to returning!
