Hideaway is an exclusive all-suite resort for those who demand genuine luxury and expect only the best. Space and privacy is a hallmark here as there are some of the largest beachfront villas in the Maldives that provides the perfect backdrop for a glamorous retreat. The island host (butler) service, the first of its kind in the Maldives, is near legendary, ensuring that a dream getaway with exemplary service is a reality to meet and exceed guest expectations at all times. Over the years of operation, Hideaway Beach Resort and Spa has been fortunate to host many international celebrities and dignitaries in the resort due to the unique privacy that our island and villas provide. Opened in 2015 with 103 spacious beach and over water villas with their own private pool and hot tub. Tucked away in the northern part of Maldives, we are fortunate to have rich under water sea life, one of the biggest resort island and the only operational private Marina in the country. Four restaurants and bars offer a world of fine dining, including an excellent wine collection. The spa is a true wellness haven with 12 private treatment suites, steam room and hair salon set in manicured gardens. For those who love to be active, two outdoor pools, the recreation centre with its gym, two tennis courts, beach volleyball court, as well as extensive water sports, fishing, diving and a range of excursions ensures there's always something new to explore.

Amazing beach vacation

The whole trip was amazing, it was so beautiful and the resort was awesome. The food and service and location everything was topnotch. Had best time for our 15th wedding anniversary. Would recommend to visit this resort for fun or to celebrate any occasion.

Best vacation ever. We found paradise. Hard to top this. Better than Bora Bora. So relaxing, you rarely saw crowds in this resort. Starting from the warm, traditional greeting and the flower lei, we felt welcome. Top notch service from our butler Crystal. She helped make the reservations for dinner and helped with our connecting flight to our next destination. So efficient and helpful. Great food and service from the Sunset pool restaurant. Manager Kamlesh was so hospitable. We will never forget our favourite server Rajika and her great smile. Bartender Ravindu gave us the best cocktails. At the Matheefaru restaurant manager Sefar always greeted us with a smile and made our stay memorable with his stories and professionalism. Our waiter Muje was always quick with our drinks and told us interesting stories of the island, culture and his family. All of the staff in the resort were excellent. The ladies in the spa were phenomenal.

Beautiful Hotel, Disappointing Staff – Except for a Few Gems

The hotel is amazing, but the staff, in general, is very disappointing. They are not flexible. Every request we made seemed like a big issue, and many times, it wasn’t accommodated. None of the buggy drivers were friendly, nor was the butler who assisted us. The only exception was Chirag, who helped us several times with a smile, always attentive, and provided us with an incredible experience at the Meeru restaurant. Additionally, the three singers who performed every night were kind, talented, and fun—simply amazing! Unfortunately, the staff overall did not meet our expectations. It was our honeymoon trip.
