We have just got back from our holiday to Rhodes, and a fantastic rejuvenating stay at Helea. Location and Hotel The hotel isn’t too far away from the airport and is also a 10/15 minute taxi ride from Old Town, in which the hotel will sort for you and it’s about €14/15. However, we didn’t feel the need to leave the hotel as everything we needed was there! The hotel is extremely clean and the grounds are immaculately kept dotted with lush greenery and the hotel has its own beach which is steps away. As an Interior Designer, the hotel interior is absolutely beautiful, including the rooms which are spacious in my opinion, we came as a family of 3 and to us the size was perfect. The rooms are also equipped with high end amenities, as well as the mini fridge which was refilled daily as part of the all inclusive. Housekeeping also do a great job and our room was cleaned daily with towels being changed Also to mention, you get beach towels on arrival which you can change as many times as you need in a station by the pools which was great! Food/Drinks We ate at the buffet every day as unfortunately due to it being end of season the a la carte restaurants were shut/booked which was a shame, however we understand this! But the food in the buffet was always lovely and the staff were always attentive and nothing too much for them! Thank you to Elizabeth and Sofia as well, always a happy smile on their faces! This was one of the best all inclusive we’ve ever had. The variety of food they had was great, with hot and cold at the buffet as well as the snack bar during the day…the best crepes I’ve ever had! Unfortunately again the beach bar had stopped serving gyros due to it being end of season which is a shame but none the less we still had plenty of choice! Also the drinks and cocktails were incredible, such a good choice on all inclusive and quick service too! Thank you Kostas in the main bar and the lovely man down at the pool bar! The staff are a credit to this hotel! We would most definitely return to this hotel, I would say end of season has its pros and cons (it is much quieter which is lovely!) but overall a fantastic holiday !! The only couple things I would add are: - more hooks in bathroom for dressing robes/towels - Physical map would be great for arrival
