I have just returned from Haydarpasha Palace yesterday, 15 of my family all went for 10 nights to celebrate my 50th birthday. 10 adults and 5 children. Total.cost.of the holiday was approx 16 thousand pounds. We arrived early hours, bell boys quick and efficient with luggage, reception very busy and only 1 man working, eventually got to our room and it was lovely, 4th floor, pool view didn't disappoint. Fridge had coke, Fanta, water, beer and fruit juices which was replenished every day. For me breakfast was the best meal, hugr variety to eat. Lunch we always ate at either the pool or beach snack bar, good array of food here. Evening meal was an absolute nightmare, a free for all, honestly the stress levels were through the roof, too many people for one restaurant and some people not understanding the basic manner of queuing and waiting your turn, food ok, lots to choose from but just not my cup of tea. To eat out is very limited, very few restaurants around, maybe a handful at best, very small strip a short walk from the hotel, surrounding area very dirty and ran down, so much promise there with the big hotels surrounding the area. Hotel has a shop, hairdressers, tattoo artist, jewelers and clothes shop. Can only comment on shop, EXPENSIVE AS HELL, omg it was bad. However they are able to charge what they like as its so amenable. I had a lovely massage for 1 hour costing £50 afterwards I was told I had a trapped nerve, sciatica and poor lymphatic system which would require a course of a further 5 massages to."fix" me, costing £300, I left feeling less than relaxed.. Towels available from spa area Hotel is stunning from the outside, inside at reception and rooms were also very nice, pool area appeared nice however sun loungers were very uncomfortable, dirty and broken. The pool area is dirty and poorly maintained, bits of broken tiles etc. Pool bar is ran by a lovely guy Ata, he goes out his way to serve you, he even delivers your drinks on roller skates, however we found the more you tipped the more they wanted. Entertainment was extremely poor for such a large hotel which was disappointing. Maid service was average, clean towels every day buy room not cleaned, floors weren't touched in 10 days. Again the level of service depends on tips, we left the maid tips and she made swan shapes with towels, I just feel a 5 star hotel should do this anyway. Now as check out was approaching we asked whether late check out was available, we were initially told yes and would be €15 per hour however we were then told there was no rooms available to keep on which was stressful with 5 children, they offered a communal shower room to use which was very poor, people banging on the door when we were in showering the kids, definitely not 5 star service. Reception staff obnoxious and rude which was very disappointing. We made the most of our holiday however we would not return to either the hotel or the area. Having been travelling to various parts of Turkey twice yearly for many years I would definitely say this area is by far my least favourite. Over the top expensive for everything so we will be rethinking our favourite destination.

We stayed in the hotel for 8 days as a family of three with a baby. The hotel is very nice and clean, the food is delicious. The rooms are large and nicely decorated. The hotel is luxurious, the pool is large and clean. The cocktails are perfect at the Loby bar, be sure to look for SEDA there, she will make you the best cocktails, look for the specials, you will be delighted. We recommend the hotel, it is suitable for families with babies.

The hotel is very beautiful and big. I did face discrimination from the staff, they are very clear in prioritising westerners. I wear a (hijab/headscarf). The first days are nice when you’re busy with swimming and exploring but you will get bored of the same food everyday and the hotel. I’d recommend to not stay longer than a week. Watch out with the extremely overpriced market in the hotel who have horribly scammed me with Turkish lira. I do want to mention and credit Viktoria from Ukraine who works as a geust lady. She is blond sitting near the reception. The reception staff was useless aswell. Luckily Viktoria always took her time to explain and help me and even bought liquid for my contacts in the city. Due to her support I had a much better experience of this hotel.

A grand looking hotel with great facilities

This is a grand looking hotel with great facilities. The pools are fantastic especially the kids pool with a great well run kids club in the same area with activities to choose from. The beach is fine plenty of beds available and the water slides are great fun but you will struggle to get a ring. The food is as you would expect but you can always find something nice enough. The pool and beach restaurants are better for lunch particularly for kids pizza burgers pastas etc. the main buffet has plenty of choice. We didn’t try the al carte as the menus didn’t inspire so can’t comment but there is an extra charge of 15 euros per adult (children 5 and under free above half price). There are plenty of options of things to do but there are extra charges for most, for example arcade, bowling, go carts, t shirt making, spa. I didn’t try the spa as I felt it was over priced, they were a bit pushy and wouldn’t haggle. The shop onsite is very expensive walk 500 yards out of the hotel and you will save £££. I would recommend hiring a car and travelling to Kleopatra beach and into Alanya. The staff are friendly and helpful, 24 hour reception & bar. Kids night time entertainment was mediocre. Overall really enjoyed our stay our 5 year old said I loved Turkey and wants to go back. Basically if you are realistic about what to expect going on holiday in August kids holidays in terms of it being busy, and are aware of the hidden extras you will have a great holiday.

Hotel its good Room are clean and big. Pools are enogh but when you come like august there is a lot of people so there is a caos time sometimes. Baars are good specily pool barmens Murat tusak and Basar mert is best thanks for they interest. the pool is so cool entertainment team are good the food is very well ,.
