Grecotel Luxme Daphnila Bay Dassia

I was staying in this hotel with my family for two weeks. It’s a very nice and peaceful place. I also really loved the location, although firstly I was worried a bit about the elevation of the main building and the distance from the beach. Indeed it was rather a pleasant experience of nice promenades as the hotels territory is really well maintained. There are a lot of flowers and trees everywhere. I especially loved the beach as one can rest in the shadows of huge trees growing on the coast. The atmosphere was also extremely warm. The staff was always nice and helpful. Special thanks to Ms. Spiridoula (Reception), Ms. Alexandra (Guest relations), Fabian and all bar team, as well as beach ice-cream and crêpes team. Food at the main restaurant was incredibly delicious. Greetings and special thanks to Giannis (Maître). Eυχαριστώ!

Family of 3 people, 12 nights in a second half of September 2025 in a Superior Room Sea View Private Balcony, main building. Wonderful view & very green area, very good food quality & service in the restaurants, always enough free sun loungers among beautiful palms and olive trees next to the see. Ideal for a calm family holiday with a relaxed evening program. Special thanks to Ms. Spiridoula (Reception crew), Ms. Alexandra (Guest relations), Mr. Giannis (Maître & restaurant staff) , Mr. Fabian & all bar team, as well as beach ice-cream & crepes team). A very cozy place on the beautiful island of Corfu ! PS. Maybe, one thing to improve step by step - a bit tired equipment in a bathroom) For those who may be very sensitive..)

We stayed as a family for the first week of October. At our request, the hotel had organised a Taxi to collect us from the airport which was great. The lovely Dimitrius collected us and kindly gave us water and snacks for the children. The hotel setting is beautiful. Wonderful lobby area that overlooks the bay and mountains ahead over to Albania. Our room was a bungalow (823) which was the last accommodation on the beach with beautiful views to the sea. The room is typical Greek style of rustic charm, stone floors and blackened iron fixtures. White linen and soft lighting. The bathroom was a little dated but perfectly functional and clean. There is a steep hill up to the main hotel which wasn't a big issue for us. Several times on our walk up to dinner a buggy would stop and ask if we needed a lift. The restaurants are great, service was good and the food was amazing. All taste was catered for, food was interesting, fresh, delicious and wonderfully presented. The restaurant down by the beach was also great with amazing Pizzas and a Creperie which our children loved. The main pool is beautiful with a wonderful vista but sadly very cold. We swam in the sea every day as the pool was just too cold for our children. There is a second pool that was slightly warmer but the surface around this pool is polished concrete and very slippy. The beach is in a quiet bay and the sea temperature was lovely considering the time of year. There were always plenty of sunbeds however the sunbeds are not great. As you sit on them, the back flips up and hits you, the back flipped up in the wind one day and hit our young daughter causing a large bruise. If these were switched for better ones then the beach would be spot on. The bar inside is great with an excellent array or cocktails, although service can be slow. There were a lot of wasps, I imagine it's a relentless task to keep them away but I think the addition of wasp traps may help a little. All in all an excellent hotel for a relaxing week away with our family.

Returned yesterday from the most amazing week. We honestly can't recommend this hotel enough. From the moment we walked through the door the staff couldn't have been more attentive and friendly. We stayed in a beautiful bungalow with a sea view. It was spotlessly clean with a very comfortable bed. The Nespresso machine, plentiful water supply and fridge with cold drinks in were a nice touch. The Buffet food in the main restaurant was great and varied and we enjoyed the Tavernaki restaurant one evening too. The Reception staff arranged taxis for us, booked us on the water boat to Corfu Town and to Danilia Village ( both trips highly recommended) People have mentioned the hill down to the Beach. Personally, as a 65 year old, I walked up and down regularly and didn't find it a problem but the buggy was always available with a very cheery driver. I honestly can't think of any negatives about this hotel. I know we'll be back!
