Grecotel Luxme Daphnila Bay Dassia

Great Hotel and Location. Everything was great (apart from the weather but that's just down to chance). The Food was Fantastic at all the restaurants, the Asian one was my favourite with a mix of Chinese and Japanese food. Had never had sushi with won tons and spring rolls but why not. My least favourite was the Tavernaki i got the seafood Orzo not realising I didn't really like orzo but the seafood was fresh and the Greek wine they suggested was lovely. Didn't manage to eat at the fine dining as they had to cancel from the rain (again not their fault). The Hot stone one was also lovely and fresh pizza was wonderful too if you're picky. Beach is very nice and water is a lovely deep green colour from the surrounding foliage. It gets a bit seaweedy once you go out deeper but in shallow waters its nice and sandy. The cocktails are very nice they use real fruit purees so taste fresh but sometimes are a little chunky. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, there's not too many staff at the bars so i would suggest just ordering from the bar. The beach bar and ice cream shop had quite a lot of wasps but that's the case most places you go only feel bad for the staff tat get swarmed. We received a free upgrade to a bungalow which was very nice halfway up the hill so easy to get up to the pool bar or down to the beach bar. Lots of cats roaming which is nice they don't steal food or get in peoples way just probably don't stroke them when you're at the buffet. The Shuttle and boat taxis are both easy to book at reception we took the 5pm shuttle one evening into Corfu which was great as we were at the top of the old fort for sunset. The boat taxi is quicker but if you have mobility issues or trouble balancing it would definitely be a challenge. The entertainment was great especially the jazz night the woman singing Frank Sinatra was very good. It was moved inside due to the weather but was still a nice atmosphere. We played pool a lot in the lobby bar They have 2 pool table which cost 2 euro per game and you can ask for change at the reception. We also rented a boat one day which was very fun you can do it through the reception and you just collect it from the dock on the beach. You don't need a license and it was my first time driving a boat and didn't have too much trouble the map they give you is a little confusing but we found a spot with other boats anchored by a cave to swim into. Would definitely recommend the boat you can get a more powerful one for extra money and a very fast one but only if you have a boat license. Overall would definitely recommend this place to adults and theres activities for kids to do aswell but luckily there weren't a lot when we went just quiet toddlers.

This was the worst hotel experience ever. This hotel is a disgrace. The airconditioning didn't work, the bathroom flooded, the ceiling leaked, the beach ran out of towels (at a beach resort!). I spent the week arguing with the staff. This was the least restful holiday I have ever had. It ruined our family holiday. Do yourself a massive favour and book somewhere (anywhere) else. When I asked for a refund, they offered me a 15% discount on my next trip - as if you'd ever set foot in the place.

Our whole experience from start to finish was exceptional at Daphnila Bay. The hotel was lovely, and we had stayed in a LuxMe Sea View room on the top floor of the main hotel which had sensational views across the bay, and the room itself was well equipped, clean, and modern. The staff throughout were wonderful and always welcoming and helpful, from the moment we stepped through the doors and were greeted with welcome drinks, to arranging trips, taxis and visits into Corfu/other locations on the island, nothing was too much trouble for them. We went towards the very end of the season so the resort was relatively quiet, but still lively. We were able to experience the majority of the bars, the beach, restaurant/food options and even more at the hotel, as well as having a wonderful massage in the spa. On the final night, I had booked a surprise, private candlelit dinner which took place on the beach, which had been fully closed, for myself and my partner, which I had set-up as the perfect opportunity to propose (she said yes!). The hotel went above and beyond from the initial request to make this a perfect experience - most thanks must go to the Vlasis who looked after us the whole evening with exceptional service from start to finish, and was always happy to help take pictures, give us so much information about the meal, and being really personable and attentive to the situation - he gave us a proper 5 star experience at a most perfect occasion for is (as well as to the chef for the fantastic food - Bureki was probably the highlight!). We will definitely return in the future, especially with it holding so much value to us now - thank you for such an amazing trip! :)

The holiday experience was fantastic from start to finish. The airport transfer was quick and easy and so was check in. We checked in around 1pm and room was already ready. The room was perfect, with a great view. We had an issue with the TV and this was quickly sorted out. We had no further issues for the whole week we were there. The food and service was faultless and was friendly and professional. The quality of every meal we had all week was of high quality and was really looking forward to every meal. We had meals in 4 of the restaurants and all were good. All the bars we used were brilliant and service was good. The environment of the hotel was amazing. Lovely village feel and the gardens and beach were beautiful. We spent most days by the beach but one day by the pool and one in corfu town which we caught a bus from the end of the road from the hotel from(5 minutes walk), which was a 20mins bus ride away. The only improvement would be better evening entertainment which was basic but we were out of season. All the staff were a credit to the hotel . We would definitely come back to this hotel when in corfu again. Thank you for our stay.

Without a doubt the Daphnila Bay Resort , Corfu, is one of the loveliest hotels that we have stayed at. The staff were all absolutely wonderful, so friendly and attentive and the hotel is set in a beautifully tranquil nature setting with incredible views. We were greeted with a delicious welcome drink and smiles all round , this sense of hospitality was echoed for the entire stay. On day two of our visit we were offered a complimentary upgrade to a stunning sea view apartment with thanks to Kristina, it honestly was beautiful. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble for the staff at this wonderful resort . Despite residency being at full capacity of 700 guests, this was not evident at all. Food was plenty and constantly replenished and all areas of the grounds felt spacious and comfortable. Pedros welcomed us at each meal, making us feel as though we were the only guests there ! Elsa's stunning smile was a joy to see at dinner time , service was truly attentive at all times . The warmth and care of Kristina at the front desk was unique , she ensured that we were comfortable and content throughout our entire stay , from start to finish. Spiros and his team at poolside were with smiles and positivity , and again attentive to our needs. On day 4, before returning home, we booked two ancient spirit elixir massages with the lovely Eleni. She was so lovely and an incredible practitioner, a credit to the wonderful hotel team ! We will most certainly return to the lovely Daphnila Bay resort again, the unbelievably beautiful views , the kind and attentive staff, delicious food and overall wonderful holiday experience was an unforgettable one.
