Position and location - 10/10, amazing views and felt like a little piece of paradise Food and drink - 10/10, we loved it all Staff - 9/10, loads of lovely staff, we especially appreciated Ovi on entertainment, Antonio at beach bar, Wine cellar lead, and all of the staff in the restaurants. Kids 10/10, our 6 and 8 year olds loved the kids club, beach and mini disco. Rooms 6/10, the most disappointing aspect. The bathroom needs more ventilation and ideally a heated floor and refit as they get very wet, stay very damp and prone to moulds. The room was spacious but a bit barren and the lighting was poor. Needs a floor lamp and more thoughtful wall lighting. We had a sea view bungalow which did have great views but we reckon most of the bungalows were worse than ours overall and some of them looked awful. Our solution was to spend minimal time in the room. The hotel is on a steep hill which we liked and made for great views and exercise but it is not good if you have impaired mobility, with a lot of steps. The sea and pools were on the cold side in April. The sea was very calm and clear though. We liked spending most of our time by the beach where we could hear the sea, keep an eye on the kids at kids club and get drinks/food from the nice beach bar. There are a lot of young children at this resort which can reduce the peace! We can't imagine many places have a nicer overall position though. We would love to come again as long as the room was modernised further. For context we paid £2600 for a weeks all inclusive for family of 4 with flights from UK. It was the first week of the season and I think that it was excellent at this price, but we would give a lower score if we paid more.
