As an Asian covered guest with young children from the UK I would avoid. Pros: lovely scenery- good food- Unless you are GERMAN RUSSIAN OR TURKISH do not expect anything other than a 3* treatment. CHECKING IN- was great - you want an upgrade you pay for it. ROOM - comes with a lovely view, can get a bit loud with the DJ but if you close the balcony door it’s not an issue. The biggest issue was loud guests shouting in hallways at night walking past rooms. Twice it woke my daughter up as she got scared. RESTAURANT - This is where most of the issues occurred. We realised on the very first day of being there that we were not treated the same as other guests. Most waiters and waitresses walked past us and never offered us a drink with our meal. They went upto tables near us and took all alcohol orders and ran back past our tables for the empty glass re fills all the while ignoring us. From all the waiters and waitresses only a handful actually offered us a drink once during the meal and on the last day we met a lovely waiter who offered us drinks throughout the service. I wish we met him sooner. LOBBY - Again the staff walked past us as if we didn’t exist anytime we went to the lobby for drinks. Only on one night when we got shisha to smoke we actually got a waitress who took our drink order and that’s the one and only time of our 6 day stay we got offered it. Bear in mind other guests were getting second and thirds straight to them. GUEST RELATIONS - we had a incident where a waiter banged into our table with a trolley and threw hot chocolate on my sons lap and my tea on my face, the young boy hurried threw a few wipes on table and left. Didn’t bother to get us any help. We went to guests relations to let them know and the manager was nice about it and said she will speak to them and get my sons clothes dry cleaned. The next day we went back for his clothes and the girls sitting at the desks outside managers office made it out like they don’t know any English to my husband and they don’t understand what happened with a attitude. Finally after trying to get Google translate to help she admitted she knew English and handed his clothes over. OVERALL - if you are Muslim and wear a hijab and speak English I personally would not choose this hotel there are many other hotels available where you would be treated same as other guests. Some guests stared at me and made us feel uncomfortable, others at my kids and spoke in their language - no concept of queuing so people pushed into line for food and also pushed plates into the kids backs while waiting. Sadly for such a beautiful hotel I would not reccomend this hotel to my family and friends in the UK.

We were there a while the whole family ,and my elderly parents , what an amazing experience , we had the time of our life , food was just extravaganza never understood how they did it !! I remembered to leave a review as this year only 4 of us are in beach club Doganay 🤮and it’s so bad especially the food that made me realise how grateful I am to Granada hotel , thank you for making good memories for my parents❤️.

Arrived in May 2023 (11 of us) 4 familys,Rooms lovely and clean-mini bar stocked every day,beds made fresh everyday-we stayed in a normal room just up from the lobby area for the first 8 days and we had our eye on the king suite from arrival-i asked at reception if it was available and if it was how much to upgrade the family-the manager said he could upgrade us when the current family left at a cost of 400 euros (working out at 100 euros a family) perfect!!!! Its the best suite ive ever stayed in its huuuuge and we all had our own rooms/bathrooms -higghllly recommend this if theres a few of you-you get views of all the restort here-you will not be disappointed,overall great holiday nothing to complain about..location isnt the best theres not much around if you like to venture out to different bars and restaurants.i would deffo go back but we like to try different places.

Reasons to go: 1. Good choice of food. 2. Great cocktail bar. Reasons not to go: 1. Located in the middle of nowhere. 2. Talking to Yulia in Guest relations was a waste of time. 2. Front of hotel is facing a speeding highway which (Onthebeach) removed from its advertising photos. Room was awful where nothing worked and we could not open the balcony door due to the noise and pollution. 3. If you are any colour apart from white, then Mr Sitki Gedik and his animation team will simply treat you like you are invisible. By far the worst animation team I have ever come across. 4. Excursion companies in the hotel lobby are a rip off. 5. The room we were given was only big enough for 2 people but there was 4 of us, I was offered a family room for £300 more, when I refused they said £280, then £250, then £230 and then came down to £200!! What a bunch of crooks. 5. Reception staff are by far the worst I have ever encountered. Upon checking in, Mr ANIS rolled his eyes and seemed annoyed he has to check us in. We were offered no drinks yet others were. This attitude remained the same throughout the stay. A really rude person. 6. Staff in pool bar making derogatory comments towards young girls and women in their own language. One mother understood what they said and proceeded to tell them off and shut up. As someone that has spent numerous years in the hotel Industry, I suggest Mr Anik to make immediate improvements especially with the FOH team, Guest relations team and Animations team. All 3 are shockingly bad.

3 star at best …but they do try super hard

Hotel tries really hard but falls down in many areas. It’s not a 5 star resort albeit the service is very good and it’s definitely a solid 3 to 4 max on a good day. If you are on a budget and want copious amounts of booze and food and don’t mind loud and brash guests, go for it. If there any issue, guests services really do try are. Think twice about using the hotels own transfer service. Going out was fine however comping back, my baby left a few breads crumbs on the back seat that we missed when leaving. The driver very rudely complained and sped off. Got to be one of the rudest people I have met. Stay away from the hotel transfer!!
