Golden Sun Resort & Spa

We stayed here for two weeks as part of our 50th birthday celebrations. The room , with private pool, was spacious and incredibly clean and tidy with all the amenities you need. Room had fridge, hairdryer, tea and coffee making facilities and ample storage space. The rooms were serviced every day with clean towels for the bathroom and pool- maids were lovely and friendly and quick and efficient. Breakfast was always fresh and delicious with plenty of choices. We must mention Michael and Maria who worked so hard every morning to ensure that our breakfast experience was top notch! They really are super stars! Kelly, who worked behind the bar, was also a fantastic ambassador for the hotel- always happy to help. We found the staff to be very helpful, professional and always on hand to help. This has been our favourite European location to date and hope to return next year. The location is minutes from the beach and a short stroll from the strip . I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend a stay here - it’s beautiful! The only thing we could really pick fault with would be the air- conditioning. It wasn’t really powerful enough for the heat of the day.

Hotel was lovely, staff were very nice. Pool and pool bar was good. Not very much in the way of snacks included in all inclusive. Was a bit disappointed after spending £1,300 for a weeks holiday that you the had to pay extra to go into the spa and pool area and also have to buy drinks when you went in there! Should be included in your all inclusive. The food was a let down! Not warm food, breakfast was the same every day. Could do with meats and salami, croissants, pain au chocolate etc. Overall I had a lovely holiday but like I said a few things let the hotel down.

Came back here for a second time in July 2024. We had a truly fantastic week, this place is so neat and tidy and very relaxing. Never had an issue getting sunbeds by the pool, and all the staff are friendly and helpful. It felt very nice being recognised by Kelly and Mike on our first day and they were great for the whole week. This time we were in an upstairs room with a hot tub which we set to be cool enough so it was nice to get in at the end of the afternoon before going out to dinner.

We have just returned from the beautiful Golden Sun resort and spa and have to say it has been an absolute pleasure... This is one of the nicest hotels we have stayed in and worth every penny. The staff were brilliant.. Kelly on the bar was a top cocktail maker and very knowledgeable about places to visit, breakfast was lush and Maria and Michael were fab, the lovely cleaning ladies work so hard too.. The staff are what make this hotel what it is and keep people coming back.. We had a room with a private pool which was a god send in the heat and having read the reviews about the parasols in rooms we took our own but as others have said the rooms do need them so perhaps it's something that needs to be addressed.. The hotel is literally a 5 minute walk to the beach turning right out of the hotel, turn left and it takes you to the main road where there are some lovely restaurants and bars... I would definitely recommend the hotel and we will definitely be back

Beautiful place and worth every penny. We had a private pool room which was amazing, only thing I would say I agree umbrellas are needed you can get ones at the shop. Breakfast is amazing and Michael and Maria give superb service. Everything is spotless, cleaning staff usually see you leave the room and try and clean it whilst your out. Kelly and Stella at the bar again amazing service. Beach is a few minutes walk and the strip 10 minutes. Lots of lovely restaurants to chose from. Really can’t fault anything !
