This hotel was to a very high standard, with a few issues. We visited in mid-October, which is towards the end of the season. Good things: + The pool area was excellent, with the 4 pools being very clean and regularly tested for PH, chlorine, etc. Also the life guard on duty was excellent, managing the use of the water slides so that people were safe. + The sun loungers were a good mixture of sun and shade for those that don't want to sit out in it. There are trees along the property line and there are also umbrellas. + The pool restaurant had some snacks for lunch (burgers, pasta, turkish flat breads, salad) that was decent, although the same every day. + The beach area has plenty of sun loungers and they rake the beach every day. Also people go around collecting rubbish regularly. The sand is fine grain and the sea clear and you're able to walk out a decent way, so shallow enough for swimming safely. They also cordon off the swimming area. + The buffet restaurant was decent for lunch and dinner, although some of the food was cooler towards the end of the seating. There was a decent selection of foods, but it's probably mid-tier food vs. other places I have stayed. + Most of the staff were friendly and spoke enough English that it wasn't a problem to communicate. + The beach facing deluxe rooms were a good size with a large balcony including drying rack, small couch and a bistro table and chairs. + The bars offered a range of drinks including a cocktail list. The beer served is Efes Pilsner. + The hotel gift shop has a good range of souvenirs at reasonable prices + The hotel has a bus pickup point outside with trips to Kasadasi for 45 lira each way. + There are shops within walking distance and a small bazaar selling typical knock off clothing, etc. + Free safe in the room + Fridge in room that is restocked daily with soft drinks and fizzy water + Kettle in room with mugs, teas and coffee, but recommend bringing tea bags. UHT milk available in the local Migros shop. Areas for improvement: - We had a top floor room and the shower drain was set too high, so water didn't run down into it well, meaning we had to manually splash the water towards it after a shower. - There was a bad drain smell after using the toilet - I figured it you could prevent this by running water in the sink for a minute or two. We reported it, but it didn't seem to be fixed. - The deluxe rooms have the sink in the room and toilet and shower have frosted glass door. It would be much better to have a separate bathroom, like in the standard rooms. - The air-conditioning worked fine, but required you to have the light on. So you couldn't use it at night. We left the balcony door open and the bug screen shut, but it got quite hot some nights - There wasn't quite enough storage space for clothes and 10 hangers in the wardrobe - bring extra if you have a lot to hang - Breakfast was pretty poor in terms of selection and omelettes etc. often cold. - The bartender in the lobby had a very bad attitude, even after tipping. - There were a lot of mosquitoes and we were bitten a lot. Definitely bring repellent on your trip. - The beers are served in small cups - The free drinks end at 11pm, after that you must pay. Plus point, less rowdy drunkenness late at night. - The ala carte restaurant was pretty poor, although I enjoyed the steak main. Overall I enjoyed the holiday here and thought the hotel was decent. The negative points did not really impact the holiday too much, so I would recommend it, but bear the points in mind if comparing with other places or is you are very picky.
