Firefly Beach Cottages

Our 4th trip to Negril and our 1st time staying at Firefly. Three mature women shared the 2 bedroom (loft style) cottage. Main floor with small living area (TV, bar height table/chairs and couch), full kitchen (fridge, stove, microwave, kettle) and full bathroom with shower. Kitchen stocked with dishes, pots/pans, glasses (wine/drink). Up 12 stairs to loft area where we had 2 full beds, doors to balcony outside (super large), large dresser and wardrobe for all our clothes. On the other side of the stairs, under slanted roof was a single bed - on the other side of the wall is another bedroom with 1 queen size bed and small 2 piece bathroom (toilet/sink) and more space for clothes. The amazing housekeeping staff kept the rooms clean everyday and provided us with fresh bath/hand towels. This cottage is closest to the road (Norman Manley Blvd) and the street noise can be very loud some nights. If you're a light sleeper this cottage is not for you but we 3 ladies come prepared with ear buds for peaceful sleep. The balcony on the 2nd floor is large and it was the perfect spot to enjoy morning coffee and the garden views. Sorry I didn't take more pictures of the cottage :( A quick 3 minute walk takes you to the beach. Passing by the main office you'll find a supply of beach towels and the wonderful office staff ready with a smile and friendly greeting! Firefly has their own restaurant which serve Breakfast, Lunch and dinner as well as a drink/appetizer special everyday from 12-2pm. There are plenty of beach loungers and a huge tree blankets the restaurant and part of the beach to provide some needed shade from the sun or rain when needed. If you've been to Negril before you know it's 7 miles of beautiful beach and the Caribbean sea didn't disappoint us as usual. I give the staff a 10/10 rating - lots of smiles and willingness to help make your trip the best possible. Thank you Firefly Beach Cottages! We didn’t stay here but came here to eat and drink many times! Dennis, Sophie and the rest of the staff are wonderful. Stuffed chicken, jerk chicken penne, shrimp Alfredo, $5 happy hour appetizers, $2 happy hour red stripes and other drinks are all fabulous. It’s so reasonably prized and centrally located. Highly recommend!

Basic little cottage with a clean bed and a warm shower. The place was cleaned daily with fresh towels. Its location was perfect for us. Close to lots of restaurants and little bars on the beach. The street side has lots of restaurants and stores within walking distance as well.
