The nightlife in Kiotari is more subdued than some of it's raucus neighbours on Rhodes. There are bars which serve cocktails and have music playing, but they do not stay open so late and are more suitable for a relaxing pre dinner drink rather than a late night on the town. Evening entertainment in Kiotari is generally centred around the larger hotels which put on entertainment including live music, singers, quizzes and Greek themed evenings. If its clubs until the early hours that you are after, then we recommend a short taxi ride to neighbouring Lindos or Pefkos.
There are plenty of reasonably priced tavernas and restaurants in Kiotari serving great local dishes such as souvlaki and kleftiko, as well as a good selection of international cuisine, here are a few of our favourites. With its great views and equally good service, Stefano is the place to go for top quality seafood. Here you can enjoy freshly caught calamari, langoustines, mussels and octopus. If red meat if more to your taste then it has to be the family run Mourella Restaurant, start with some classic Greek dips and breads before tucking into a succulent steak cooked to perfection. For more western style options we suggest you try Capi di Pizza, where there is a fantastic choice of classic Italian dishes on the menu or how about grabbing a burger and cocktail at Ipanema Café, both will excite your taste buds in equal measure.
There are many mini markets and a few supermarkets in Kiotari which will more than cater for your needs if you are self-catering, with many recognisable brands and food stuffs, as well as a few that may be new.
