Top beaches in Ixia

Aigao beach has all the hallmarks of a typical Rhodanian beach: Vast stretches of sand and pebbles bordered by pine-clad hills, accompanied by a handful of bars and restaurants. Sun loungers can be hired for €5 a day, and are best booked early in the morning. If you are travelling by car or taxi, the beach has free parking right next to the taxi rank.

As the name suggests, Ixia Beach is the main stretch of golden-white sands in the region. The bay is fringed by hotels that line the coastline and offers every necessity for seascape bliss. This beach is just a short distance from Ixia and is an excellent alternative to the hustle and bustle of Ixia beach. The bay is dotted with grey sand and pebbles, with diamond-clear waters, and remains perfectly clean to preserve its natural environment. Kremasti beach is less crowded, ideal for those seeking quieter beach days.

Lalyssos Bay is adjacent to Ixia beach and has a similar shoreline. It's a long beach with plenty of space for relaxation and beach activities. Sink your feet into the sand and pebbles to perfect your tan, or paddle in the green waters.

To the south of Ixia lies a sandy haven that stretches as far as the eye can see.
