Top beaches in Rhodes

This small, secluded cove was named after the famous actor who used to love swimming in its emerald-green waters. Anthony Quinn Bay offers a crescent patch of sand and shingle, surrounded by rocky cliffs and lush foliage. The beach is well-equipped with sun loungers and umbrellas, and its calm waters with scenic views make the perfect combination for snorkelling and diving.

Faliraki Beach sits on the northeast coast, within a close distance of Rhodes Town. Extending its vast golden sands across 4 km, Faliraki is a popular bay for families, couples, and locals who may experience crowds during the day. This azure gem is well-developed, and renowned for offering encyclopedic water sports activities and a vibrant selection of beach bars and restaurants. Prasonisi Beach sits on the southernmost tip of Rhodes. This unique strip of sandy haven is only exposed to low tides of shallow waters, meaning it's perfect for non-swimmers and younglings. The west side of the beach swells with strong winds which is where you’ll find windsurfers and kite surfers, whereas the east side is nicely sheltered and provides endless rows of parasols and sunbeds to relax. Feel free to cross to each half of the bay through the sandbank right in the middle.
