Kavos is an excellent starting point for your holiday in Corfu. As well as its fabulous beaches and party atmosphere, it's also a great base for fun activities. Book a quad bike safari in the surrounding countryside, join in an amazing pool party or have some fun at the beachside Aquapark. From the port, take a boat to the nearby islands of Paxos and Antipaxos or to the beautiful blue lagoon and beach.
Off the southern coast of Corfu lie the stunning islands of Paxos and Antipaxos, known for their breathtaking beauty. Quaint houses dot the picturesque bays, surrounded by crystal-clear waters and luxurious beaches, framed by verdant hillsides; it is no wonder that the islands are a magnet for the rich and famous and the marinas are regularly filled with celebrity-owned super yachts. Boat trips departing from Kavos typically include visits to these islands, offering opportunities to swim in the warm turquoise seas and explore the three renowned caves, each boasting spectacular inner architecture.
Accessible only by boat, the Blue Lagoon is a breathtakingly beautiful natural site located near Sivota on the mainland. On a white cliff capped by lush green trees lies a perfect sandy beach, bathed by a brilliantly coloured sea. There are many boat trips that include this beautiful spot in their itinerary, and you'll have the chance to swim to the beach. We recommend you opt for one of the luxury speedboat excursions, which allow you to approach the lagoon at high speed and film your swim using underwater cameras, which is truly impressive.
Kavos is definitely the place to party, and one of the best ways to indulge your passion for music and good times is to attend one of the many pool parties. Extravagance and indulgence are the order of the day, body paint and glitter are the order of the day, and many of the parties are themed and fancy dress is the order of the day. We recommend checking out the parties at Island Beach Resort, Quayside Village and Quayside Boulevard, which can offer the wildest experiences. So get your swimming costume on, put on a Smurf costume and get ready for some fun in the pool.
Most visitors to Kavos rightly focus on the activities of the resort, but if you go the other way, to the countryside, you'll find that 70% of the resort is actually green fields, criss-crossed by paths and trails ideal for exploration. We think the best way to discover this side of Kavos is on an exciting quad bike tour. You'll receive full instructions on how to use your bike before embarking on a guided off-road adventure that will include challenging and exciting terrain, with plenty of opportunities to see magnificent views and create fantastic memories.
The Aqua Park is right next to Kavos beach. You can't miss this bright green and yellow array of inflatable challenges. This isn't your ordinary playground; it's a vibrant green and yellow obstacle course afloat on the water. Don't be fooled by its playful appearance - the course's numerous challenges will test your agility and coordination, especially with the refreshing water adding an extra layer of slipperiness! We recommend taking a group of mates and spending an hour or two tackling this deceptive collection of moving tests, especially if it's the day after the night before.
