Perfect stay

We spent three nights in one of the Elysian Villas and we simply could not fault it. It's in a great and very quiet location just 15 minutes walk from the hustle of Oia. It can be a little hard to find as cars have to stop a little way away but the porters come and collect your luggage and guide you through the lanes. The staff are really friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble for them. The room was very comfortable and the pool outside was perfect to sit and relax and get some sun. You can even see the famed sunset though during our stay it was not that special. Breakfast is tasty and plentiful and served to your room so you can eat at the patio area. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Elysian Santorini.

A wonderful villa in a quiet village with beautiful views!

We had a wonderful stay at Elysian with a private plunge pool, stunning views, and beautiful breakfast delivered daily. Take advantage of the brilliant reception service via WhatsApp to book some of the restaurants in the village such as Lefkes and Meze Meze. It’s a short 15 minute or so walk to Oia, which has stunning views but is far more busy/touristy. We loved the quiet separation Finikia offered.

Stunning but …..

The villa and staff are amazing but a steep walk down and back up if you want to use the pool at their sister hotel (Elysian Retreat) (my villa didn’t have a private pool and if I was aware of the walk to use the sister hotels pool I would definitely book a villa with your own pool!) Everything near by is expensive so be prepared to walk! You also can’t get to door of villa with any kind of transport, poor porter had incline and decline walking with luggage, also being solo try to be back before sunset as not all street lights or walking lights work!

Five star service, fantastic location and very well furnished bedroom

Following a disastrous stay in Crete, i cut my losses and checked out of there, jumped on a ferry and booked Elysian last minute - what a decision that was! My ten year old and i checked in for a three night stay and we're so glad we did. From booking, I received WhatsApp communication from the hotel directly which provided all I needed regarding our stay there which I found helpful and reassuring. Unfortunately the taxi driver dropped us at Elysian Retreat in error. This is this is the sister hotel which is a ten minute walk from the Elysian Santorini. Our room wasn't ready (we were very early) but the team told us to enjoy the pool while they took our luggage onto the correct hotel. The service was meticulous from the off, making sure that we had everything we needed and apologising for the room not being ready - even though we had arrived hours before check in. We had a call to say the room was ready and we made the short walk up the path to Elysian Santorini. Check in here was fantastic and we were lucky enough to be in the "Red pool room". The room was spotless, spacious and very well furnished and decorated. This was one of the best hotel experiences i've had. It was more of a private apartment than a hotel, which was perfect. The location is great. There are 2-3 nice looking restaurants within a 2 minute walk and Oia is just 10 minutes away by foot so we were well within reach but with the feeling of living in a quiet neighbourhood. The hotel is a few minutes walk from the nearest carpark as it sits in the pedestrianised zone but this is a huge plus as there is no traffic noise to keep you awake. We were due to fly home at 23:50 but once again, the hotel arranged for our luggage to be sent to the Retreat and we were able to use the facilities there to shower at the end of the day and have a dip in the pool before our taxi picked us up. I will absolutely be back to stay at the Elysian. The accommodation is stunning, service impeccable and location ideal and I thank all the team there for rescuing our holiday!

Amazing kindness, service and hospitality. Excellent value for money, easy to reach away from the main tourist routes, which makes it feel very authentic. The pool available for the suit only was a unique touch and super relaxing. Highly recommended
