Avoid at all costs!! Not the best holiday we have had which is a shame as the facilities are incredible but it’s let down by staff, food and all inclusive not really being all inclusive. The hotel itself is lovely, very clean, lovely facilities and the pools/island are great if you have kids. We arrived on the 9th April and whilst it was warm there was a chill in the air and the pools were freezing, Like an ice bath and impossible To stay in longer than two minutes. But we appreciate it was early season and this is one of those things. The second week of our stay the weather was boiling and the pools soon warmed up. The restaurant is hell. So busy and 1800 guests crammed into a two hour service. The tables are filthy and the staff take ages to set them for the next people and the queue for food lengthy. The food itself is awful. Bland and the same choice every night. It’s possibly the worst food we have ever experienced on holiday. There wasn’t any table service for drinks and the bar queue was also long. Bearing in mind there were 1800 guests and in high season there are over 3000, this doesn’t bode well. The staff are rude, they don’t greet you when you enter the restaurant or have any interaction when you go to the bar. One male receptionist in particular was incredibly rude to us and other guests. Usually when on holiday you have a bit of banter and chat with staff… not on this holiday. They all looked like they didn’t particularly want to be there. All inclusive it is not!! Be prepared to spend extra. The only drinks included are coke, Fanta and water. Even at breakfast you have to pay one euro for orange juice (pineapple and apple are free) and when you have a family of 4, over ten days that adds up when you have already paid to be all inclusive. The only alcohol Included is beer (efes only), red, white and rose wine, vodka, gin and whiskey. All other alcohol you have to pay for. No cocktails or cocktails on the menu and these are expensive to buy. We aren’t big drinkers either and we found this frustrating. The free ice creams are boring lollies, the nice ice cream is not free, neither are the snacks from the kiosks. Prices are overinflated too, 5.00 for a cup of strawberries, £5 for a milkshake and the snacks in the on site shop are ridiculous-£10 for Pringles!! Even outside the complex the prices are insane. Be prepared to spend a lot. The area outside the hotel is run down and not a lot going on.. I’ve been to turkey twice before and this is the worst resort I’ve ever been to. Most guests were eating out locally as the food was so bad. It’s very noisy at night, the music goes on until midnight which is fine..we were out until late but some nights 1.30am and it’s clear as a bell from Your room, especially if you have a pool view. A really disappointing holiday. I would certainly never ever visit this hotel again. And it’s a real shame as the pools amd facilities for the kids are pretty impressive…but that’s about it!! I’m just thankful we paid a really cheap Price for this trip..but maybe the above is why it was so cheap!!
