I would never ever come back this hotel again no English the food is 1 star we had to eat out everyday cost us hundrands of pounds even thou we paid for all inclusive , the rooms were filthy bedding never change air con didn’t work tv didn’t work ‘ this hotel is false advertisement! Only nice thing about the hotel is the view , worst hotel it’s no more then a 2 star hotel needs sorting out ! Me and my partner have been robbed ‘

ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING!!!! Do not go to this hotel. Terrible air con does not work rooms are shabby ants in bathroom showers broke not one English Channel on the bedroom tv foods not great not enough sun loungers staff don’t speak English and to be honest I don’t think they like English people that much in this hotel you constantly feel they are talking and laughing about you. Nothing is fixed and when you ask they shrug you off. Total waste of money!!!

Fantastic location! Disappointed with the cleanliness of room and lack of choice of food

While we could not fault the location of the hotel and it's stunning views, unfortunately other areas were a little dissapppointing. The reception area boasts the most fantastic view of Bodrum bay, the staff are friendly and helpful. Our room was bigger than we expected but the air conditioning was not good enough to cope with the 34 degree temperature and was a bit stuffy making it hard to sleep. The restaurant was also too warm. The food was nice, although it lacked variety and unfortunately they didn't label anything with food allergens making it very difficult for myself who is egg intolerant. The rooms were not serviced often enough, we had to go and ask at reception for our bath towels to be changed. The roof top bar however is lovely for watching the sunset and the staff were friendly. In the lobby bar we had our drinks served by lovely staff who also bought snacks to the table. Direct access to the beach was a definite plus. The hotel is located just a 20 minute walk from the castle, old town and marina so despite a few niggles we did have a superb holiday.

Honeymoon nightmare

Despite the beautiful view, this hotel is far from good. The air conditioning is terrible, turning the room into a sauna ,some guests resorted to sleeping in tge lobby. Opening the door leads to constant noise and the smell of cigarette smoke from every direction. The room floor was full of ants , woke up with them crawling on me . Some male staff members (not all) were unprofessional, flirting with other female guests. Even after complaining about the broken AC and a non-working light, nothing was done. Some of the food seemed reheated from the day before and definitely not worth the money. I couldn't sleep, and this stay has completely ruined my honeymoon. Not 5 star.

Don’t screw up your vacation

The only good thing about this hotel is that it has a nice sea view from the roof top bar. But I don't think anyone would want to pay that amount of money just for a sea view. Also there is a part of the staff who are fun and cool. If you want a holiday in a 5-star hotel, don't waste your time with Diamond of Bodrum. Definitely not 5 stars. Starting with the room which is super basic, the bed and pillows are uncomfortable, the air conditioner is extremely weak and the room cannot cool down. The bathroom is not even worthy of comment - dirty, old, unmaintained. After that - the food is the same every time, with slight changes. You also get a stomach ache after it. And perhaps the most scandalous thing is that they do not have enough pool and beach places for their guests. Literally every day you wonder where to go to the beach. The beach is dirty, stony and has 2 rows of sunbeds, which are probably 30 sunbeds. About the pool - there are written and unwritten rules. The written rule is that it is not allowed to reserve a sunbed before 8 a.m. in the morning, and the unwritten rule is that if the staff sees that you have not sat on the towel for an hour or so, they directly remove it from the sunbed, but despite this, they do not follow the written rule and at 7 a.m. in the morning all the sunbeds are occupied. It's like paying to enter a pool, but if you don't stay on the sunbed for more than an hour, you lose your right to have a sunbed. We paid extra for a room with a sea view, but actually the view is of the guests, who are sunbathing just below the terrace. I don’t wanna know what are the rooms of the the people who didn't pay for sea view room.
