Fantastic hotel - amazing room upgrade

This is the second Delphin hotel we have stayed in (Be Grand twice previously) and while a slightly older and smaller hotel, it was overall a fantastic experience. We checked in late evening on the day of arrival having booked a family Duplex room. We were offered the chance to upgrade to the Deluxe Family Room and went up to view both the room we had booked and the Deluxe. We viewed the Duplex room first and decided it was nice and the upgrade option really had to be something special to justify the extra expense - and boy was it impressive. Two separate bedrooms with bathroom with separate shower and jacuzzi bath, separate dressing area and no less than 4 balconies all overlooking the main pool and sea. All the usual Dephin flourishes were there; 24/7 food and drink, waiters on roller blades regularly checking we had drinks and main restaurant was excellent and also a la carte options were brilliant too - though make sure you book early at 0830 to ensure you get a table at the restaurant you want as they get booked up very quickly. Adem in the the main restaurant was fantastic along with all the other waiters. The only slight negative was that in April, they consider it to be "winter" and therefore do not enable the air conditioning in the rooms. This meant nights were generally quite hot and activating the air con would just make the units pump out hot air. Note to the staff would be that they should turn Air con on for rooms where it is requested as I reported it to reception who did not resolve the issue. Otherwise what a fantastic hotel, the staff and experience were both generally excellent.

The experience from start to finish has been amazing. Service from the staff has been faultless. Buffet restaurant and the Chinese a la carte food again was really good. Staff went out of their way to accommodate our vegetarian diet though I did feed back that labelling could be better but nonetheless there were plenty of staff around to explain what was vegetarian and what was not. Heated pools, kids pools and slides and the mini fun fair were really nice too. Overall we had a fantastic time and would come back,

Fantastic Hotel

We have been to the Imperial and Be Grand but the Diva has been a lot better so far. The service is fantastic, staff are always wanting to help and are constantly round the grounds offering drinks and have a smile on their face. Food is fantastic and being able to grab drinks and food from the grounds is fantastic. Fast food area is open 11-6 which is good for the kids. Couldn't recommend this hotel highly enough and will definitely be back to this hotel over the other Delphin hotels!

Fantastic family holiday

Excellent family holiday. Family of 5 with 3 children age 6,9 and 12. Service and staff at hotel excellent. We used the heated pools as the main pool was freezing due to the time of year. My 6 year old loved the kids club, they done crafts, face painting and games. The rides are suitable for younger children but still a nice wee extra. We had a duplex family room which was perfect for us / 2 double beds downstairs and king size upstairs. Only thing was the air con is centrally controlled and doesn’t cool the room in April. We had a couple of really uncomfortably hot nights but was ok after that as we switched it off completely as it was actually heating room rather than cooling. Two bathrooms with showers and two mini bars in the room.Food and snacks were excellent. We went to the Chinese, Mexican and Italian resturants . They were all really nice- favourite being the Chinese. Food in main resturant also nice. Food delicious on gala night, completed with the Turkish ice cream seller. cocktails and range of branded spirits all excellent. Table service and roller skaters delivering drinks and ice cream By the pool. Waited in hand and foot be staff- I would return
