When in Sanyo, stay at Dara Samui

One of my best stays in Thailand. Staff is very polite and helpful, especially Ms. Dear. The resort took care of us being vegetarian. It is neat and tidy and the vibes are very positive. The area has a lot of shops and restaurants. The hotel beach is a great place to spend early mornings and late evenings.

I have had a wonderful experience at Dara Samui Beach Resort. We were overwhelmed to see our room getting upgraded from Deluxe to Suite category. The beautiful lady at the reception, Ms. Dear was extremely hospitable and ensured that our stay was comfortable and pleasant. At the time of check in, we were also asked if we’re vegetarian and special arrangements were made for the breakfast. I highly recommend this place to everyone. It will make your holiday a special one.

Best resort in Chaweng !

The rooms are pretty and cozy, the swimming pool is nice, the beach in front of the hotel is really nice. It’s not too crowded, no kids and the location is just perfect, close to nightlife but still in a quiet place. The restaurant is very good, we ate every evening at the hotel’s restaurant. The tables at the beach make it a very pleasant moment. The food is actually very good, Thai food as well as other type of cuisine. Special thought for the T-bone during the bbq night, it was one of the best piece of meat I’ve ever eaten. There were some activities proposed by the hotel which is a very cool idea and the xylophone night will be remembered! And to finish, the staff was amazing and very serving and carrying. Very lovely people and special thanks to Noon who helped us manage our booking because we initially booked for the wrong year and she helped us finding a solution. Thank you Dara Samui, we loved our stay and would definitely come back if we get the chance to come to Samui again!

From the moment I arrived, the hospitality was impeccable: Mas, the Resort Manager, welcomed me with a personalized greeting, a thoughtful touch that made me feel right at home, even while traveling solo. Mas is truly exceptional—an incredible professional and a delightful person, always warm, attentive, and dedicated to making every guest feel special. Her kindness and attention to detail create an atmosphere that turns a simple stay into an unforgettable experience. The resort itself is a perfect blend of relaxation, privacy, and comfort, all while being just steps away from the vibrant nightlife. Every aspect is managed with excellence, from the impeccable cleanliness to the outstanding service provided by the incredibly friendly and professional staff. With its prime location, breathtaking private beach, and serene atmosphere, this resort offers everything one could ask for. Welcome to Dara Samui Beach Resort, a 4-star beachfront resort with authentic Thai architecture, strategically located along the most exciting beach on Samui - Chaweng Beach. It is a short walk to a variety of important "facilities" for every visitor - Thai spas/massage, money changers, banks, 24-hour convenience stores, beach bars, restaurants, street shopping, high end shopping and night life. We have 24-hour reception, 5 room categories, complimentary wifi access in all guestrooms - lobby - restaurant, breakfast restaurant (7am-10.30am),1 beachside restaurant (6.30pm-10.30pm), room service (7am-10.30pm),1 freeform swimming pool (7am-7pm) with outdoor jacuzzi (10am-12pm and 2pm-5pm), poolbar (11am - 11pm), tour counter and airport transfer services.
