D'Andrea Mare Beach Hotel

Apart from aircraft noise overhead, which eventually didn't bother too much, its a Lovely hotel, with food/restaurant lovely, some parts of the hotel could do with some refurbishment but otherwise all very friendly staff, and really enjoyed our time great holiday, thank you!

After seeing some of the reviews took a bit of a dip in August I did have some concerns. However, we experienced none of the negativity and the hotel was just lovely. We always managed to get pool beds regardless of time of day and the area and toilets were always kept clean. The food was always of a high standard and lots of choice. The bar and restaurant staff were great and our drink choices were always remembered! The animation team were such great fun and so friendly. A particular shout out to Agata - such a lovely, friendly and talented girl and she and my daughter hit it off. Leslie and the team were great fun and really inclusive of all the guests. The pool aerobics was fab and we really liked playing Boules! Our room had a sea view and was of a high standard. Only thing I would say was that the water would seep out from the shower across the tiles so perhaps a door water stopped could be added to stop this. But nothing an extra towel didn't help with. The beach is pebbly but a few steps in and there is sand - would recommend beach shoes though. Would definitely stay again - we had a really lovely week there :-)

The hotel was great and the staff was incredibly nice! We got a very good and solid room for the price that we paid (sea view even though we didn't pay for that). The food was excellent, there were many choices to choose from, the drinks on all inclusive were decent! The beach was beautiful and had an amazing view of the sunset, the water was warm and we enjoyed it. The pool was also warm and clean! There was a great animation team, every hour there was something exciting and fun to do, the evening's that they hosted were unbelievable and the animation team had a lot of energy till the end of the day and still were up for anything! I would like to give a special thanks to Felix ( the leader of the animation team ) for giving a shoutout to my daughter because it was her birthday and he really made that night special for her! The hotel was more than we expected! We loved and really enjoyed our stay there, and we are definitely going to stay there again!!!

Perfect first family holiday for me, my husband and our 5 month old baby! We were here 1st week of October (which was lovely weather) and had such a lovely stay. The hotel itself is lovely and I’ve summarised my thoughts below; Pros; The staff are incredible! So so friendly and kind, from the reception (Voula was lovely!), the entertainment team and the restaurant staff. The hotel felt very accommodating to families which was very helpful. The pool was really nice and clean, well looked after and maintained. The onsite shop is really useful! The restaurant was lovely! The selection of food was great and we really enjoyed our meals. We missed the buffet when we returned home!!!!!!!!!! Our room (a junior suite overlooking the pool and beach) was very spacious and perfect for us. Cons; Ok it’s not great it’s on the flight path, you can hear the planes but after a day we honestly just got used to it and it didn’t bother us even with our baby. The evening entertainment was a bit hit and miss. The Greek night was our favourite with lovely live music and dancing. Unfortunately late check out wasn’t available as the hotel was booked and that caused us some difficulty with a baby and wasn’t ideal. Overall we really enjoyed our holiday here :)

So we only stayed here because it was near the airport and we needed somewhere nearby for a night before embarking on our main Rhodes trip. So really didn’t pay much attention to where we were booking. Arrived at 1.30am absolutely knackered to find an extremely welcoming receptionist who was really friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Two bedroom family suite was great and comfy. Not flashy but who needs it to be?Everything worked very well. In the morning went down to breakfast which was typical good 4* buffet fare, some good dishes and a nice outside area. Went for a dip in the cold but lovely sprawling pool, played some ping pong and had a couple of beers (we got AI because the rate was so good). Were staying in Rhodes Town after and the lady receptionist was super helpful in sorting us a late checkout and assuring us that we could use the AI until we felt like it. Even urged us to go for a couple more drinks when we checked out! Would we stay for a whole holiday? Probably not because we like more variety in food etc. But a really solid hotel with great staff. Overall far better than we’d expected.
