Cyprotel Faliraki

Hotel layout like a little village- lovely Our first room- 7000 area- this room was up a hill, a little dated and air con was terrible/non existent, we asked to move due to a guest with health issues and moved to in 2000 area . Main issue with first room was the walk and the temperature- The “added” air con in there was so weak and the main one did nothing. Second room was great- This was like a different hotel, amazing Air con, better room and newly decorated.- the first room needed a big upgrade. For this reason can see why there are mixed reviews. Rooms do have a kettle but paper cups. You can get replacements easily enough. No tea/coffee etc provided but you can get this around hotel/ coffee sachets in the hotel shop for 40p. (Or bring your own) - rooms 5/5 for second room. 2/5 for first. WiFi- this is poor but In reception area is ok/they seemed to improve around the pool a little don’t think this should be marked down though. People rely too much, just used my 5g. Or WiFi in main area 2/5 Drinks- they are home options, they say “Fanta” but it’s their version. I personally wasn’t a fan of any of the alcohol I found it too sweet as copy versions but the “Fanta orange/lemon” and lemonade copies were not bad. Keep an open mind and try them all. Also found depending on area these brands vary and can taste different too!- 3/5 Food- overall standard all inclusive, not massive amount of options and not always the hottest unless just topped up we had a couple of nights where we struggled slightly as the holiday went on. We preferred the snack bar most days for lunch as found it easy, close to the pool and often good options. Gyros/pittas etc - we did eat out a few times - lots of local options and Mikes was recommended to us - menu looks basic but food was actually amazing! - 3/5 Staff- all so very helpful, moved us rooms as soon as they could due to health (this may not always be possible for all) you can get taxi’s booked from reception and they will write down how much it should be. Everyone nice and helpful- 5/5 The animation/entertainment team are amazing. We didn’t have kids but you could see how hard they worked ensuring all kids (and adults) had a great holiday. Even going around saying goodbye to people on their last day. Dragos the Lead of this team was super friendly and Boogie was also so full of energy and really made an effort to entertain. Lots of activities throughout the day, evening entertainment in amphitheatre which can be uncomfortable but worth while depending on what’s on. Animation team definitely worthy of 5*- all so lovely, chatty and obviously enjoy their jobs! 5/5 2 pools- we mostly used one with the swim up bar and they serve plastic cups (only paper if run out) only place you get glass is in the inside bar which was quiet during our stay or the restaurant. The thick plastic cups are fine though. - shop sells inflatables and balls and could be used in the pool. 5/5 This visit was start of September- hotel was busy but not rammed. I could imagine when packed it’s could be different experience slightly also.

If you are looking for a fun week away in the sun then this is your place. We are leaving today but have had a fantastic week! The entertainment round the pool has been second to none! Finally a hotel where they don’t mind balls and floats in the pool. The food at the snack bars and restaurant was pretty good no complaints, just your standard all inclusive food. The rooms were pretty basic however we only used the room to sleep so it didn’t matter at all to us! A free shuttle bus to the beach and back every day was included. One night we went out clubbing and the choice of bars and clubs was pretty good and only 10-15 min walk away. Overall this hotel was perfect for us! We will be back! ☀️👍🏻

Where do i start....as a family of 4 we have been on a number of different holidays and i have to say that this by far was our best holiday EVER! I read the reviews before we went and was concerned however from start to finish we had the best time. Whilst yes the rooms are a little dated, all we did was sleep in there. Talking of sleep, we all slept so well....the beds are really comfortable. The food was great....having 2 picky eaters (12 and 15) i always worry about options available and i shouldnt have worried. Every day was different, food hall was clean and we always got a table (and rarely queued longer than 2 people in). Soft drinks were a little odd, but the cocktails, beer and wine all ok. Could have better water (not cold enough) but cheap bottle available in the shop. The pools were lovely and the slides great...my son did hurt his foot and the lifeguard was amazing. Yes, you have to get up at 6am to get a good sunbed but we always expect to do this on holiday. The amination team make this resort THE BEST! Drago, Boogie, Anastasia, Maddie, Lina, Hugo, Margo and Cuba....the activities, water guns, hi-fives, t-shirt time, fire eating, dancing, Micheal Jackson, belly dancing, aqua gym, football, darts, boccia, shooting. My son has always been shy and never really enjoyed in....we didnt see him on this holiday. Anastasia helped my son build confidence and to join in, for that i will forever remember this holiday! Would i recommend this resort.....YES. The beach and main strip is a good 20 min walk (we did it early to avoid the sun and it was a nice walk) but the train is fun and taxi is cheap. Only problem we had was needing extra pillows which were delivered within an hour of requesting. Thank you everyone at the Cyprotel....i still have my band on, can i come back? X

We had an amazing time at Cyprotel although our room was basic it had everything we needed , the food was good but the entertainment team were amazing, really approachable and helpful always happy made our holiday .Great base as was a short walk to the centre of Faliraki. We will be back

Where to start the hotel was lovely great food and animation staff was fantastic couldnt do enough for you kept us entertained the whole holiday i even played water polo plus there PR team left a gift in my room for my daughters birthday realy appreicate it cyprotel we will be back
