I'm writing this review a few weeks after my holiday for the disappointment to calm down. That way I can be as objective as possible. First of all this hotel should not be rated as a 5 star hotel. They meet the quality of a 3.5 star resort maximum. Even the size is impressive, there are many areas where no maintenance has been completed. Lifts are in a bad and filthy condition as many other parts of the hotel. Rooms are old and not very clean. They have phone handsets but they do not work (in both rooms we hired) hence there is no way to have room service or ask any question. Our package included the option to book in one of the international restaurants. We tried to book the day after of our arrival and they said there were no spaces left. Besides, it seems no one was interested in providing a solution. Definitively customer service is not part of their culture. After two days food becomes very boring. They serve the same everyday. Quality of products is good, but that doesn't make any difference at the end. Cocktails are badly prepared and there is a sort of discrimination from bartenders when they serve those. I could notice this while waiting to be served and discovered that previous customer was served different than me. Could not find a decent cocktail in 5 days. The hotel beach is not regularly cleaned and makes you feel you are in a dumpsite. I can understand that visitors come mainly from Russia and other non-English speaking countries; however, they advertised the resort in English and I would expect to have at least a simple conversation in this language because I do not speak Turkish. It was really difficult at times to communicate with the staff or ask for a simple thing. Besides, nobody cares. In conclusion, this is not a place I would recommend and of course I would not return. It was a a bad choice.
