Courtyard Nassau Downtown/Junkanoo Beach

My Mother and I visited during October in 2024. Location: The location is good, there are many things to do around the immediate area (short walking distance). Staff: Overall the staff was kind, especially Clyde. He greet me and my elderly mother several times with a genuinely warm and kind smile. Anything we asked he would try to help us, weather it be directions someplace or recommendations on food or entertainment. We looked forward to seeing him each day! Facility: The facility was an older building, you can kinda tell but that's okay because it was generally more affordable than some of the other new Mega-Hotel/ casinos . It was always clean! Room: The room was spacious, my biggest complaint has to be the wifi. It was buggy and spotty. General impression: A good value, in the heart of downtown, close to the things you want to do. The facility is a little dated, but the idea is to be out and about when in Bahamas. If you critically need the use of a fast stable internet connection, I would recommend using a hot spot via your phone or a stand alone hot spot. Dante' from San Diego

We walked into the front lobby and were greeted by a gentleman with a big smile welcoming us in. A smile so big. Clyde made us feel so welcomed. He walked us not only to the front desk where Crystal and the front desk staff checked us in but walked us to our room. The room on the fifth floor overlooking one of two pools. Across the street the beach and clear blue water was calling our name. Meeting Nigel the general manager and sharing this was our 43rd wedding anniversary he made it very special with a gift waiting for us after a day exploring the island. Breakfast was amazing. Chef Randy Dean made my wife and I amazing omelets each day. Fluffy and oh so good. The staff in the evening took care of all our needs. An excellent holiday because of a wonderful team supported by Nigel to bring customer service to a high level.

This was my second time staying at the Courtyard Nassau, Bahamas, and once again, Kendea at the front desk made the experience absolutely outstanding. From the moment I arrived, Kendea greeted me with the same warmth, professionalism, and genuine kindness that made my first stay so memorable. She remembered me from my previous visit — which speaks volumes about the level of personal attention she gives each guest — and she went out of her way to ensure everything was seamless from check-in to check-out. She’s incredibly knowledgeable about the hotel and the surrounding area, offering helpful recommendations and always making herself available if I had any questions or needed assistance. Her energy is positive, her demeanor is calm and welcoming, and she consistently goes above and beyond to make guests feel at home. It’s rare to encounter this level of consistent service, and Kendea truly sets the standard. She is a major reason I chose to return to this hotel, and because of her, I absolutely will again. Thank you, Kendea, for being such a bright spot and for making both of my stays so memorable!

My husband and I had the best time staying at the Courtyard in Nassau. #1 shout-out is to the amazing staff who went beyond any other hotel we ever stayed at. The first folks we met were Crystal and Clyde. Crystal is a gem and went above and beyond for us and the hotel is very lucky to have such a sweet soul “I got you Crystal”❤️. Then there is Clyde who greeted us with a huge smile everyday. You truly made us feel special !! Other honourable mentions are Justin (gold star lol) Kendra,and every single front desk staff we encountered. Then the Bistro we have Leah, Angelica and so many more but didn’t get everyone’s name. We appreciate everyone as well as all the cooks as the food and drinks were delicious. Our housekeeping folks were fantastic and our room was always spotless and a quick shoutout to Keneisha for her beautiful smile and giving us an extra water or 2 when we asked …so sweet of you 😊. The folks in the store, Leoletta, the HR staff, the fellow cleaning the pool deck and chairs who brought me a towel, security and finally Nigel for hosting a lovely evening of entertainment, drinks and appys. I do wish I could list everyone as our experience was the best ever. Location of the hotel was the amazing as we were able to walk everywhere everyday and it was right across from the beautiful Junkanoo beach where all the action was happening. This is a great hotel! My wife and I stopped there on our way to Staniel Cay in the Exuma's AND on the way back! We were able to participate in a mid-week "happy hour" on Wednesday, 3-12-2025 hosted by the hotel staff which was followed by a great Karaoke program. We met some incredible "Spring Breakers" from Syracuse NY and shared some very tasty Bistro items. The Hotel has some incredible staff that are really worthy of a "shout out"! Courtyard Front Desk Store: Norman (he went out of his way to get us an item we needed) Hotel Management: Nigel (General Manager), Jana (Assistant GM) and Meagan (Sales Director) Concierge: Mr. Clyde (he gave us great local Conch Salad restaurant recommendation!!) Karaoke Director: Denico Bistro Staff: Angie Breakfast Buffet: FrancLesha, Jerusha (Best Omelet EVER!)
