Official Description

The Coco de Mer Hotel and Black Parrot Suites is a four-star accommodation located at Anse Bois De Rose on the South west coast of the second largest island in Seychelles, Praslin. The sea-facing rooms features a balcony or terrace and equipped with air-conditioning, ceiling fan, satellite TV, mini fridge, tea and coffee maker, IDD phone, safe, hairdryer and en suite bathroom. The restaurant serves full English breakfast and themed buffets featuring a variety of Creole and international dishes. In addition, the hotel has 2 bars offering a la carte lunch and dinner menu and a wide selection and beverages. Leisure facilities include 2 outdoor pools with sun terraces, hammocks and loungers and a spa offering a broad range of wellness therapies, beauty treatments and massages. Free transfers to Anse Lazio beach are available several times weekly and guests can use the hotel's bicycles at a nominal charge. Neighboring island excursions and deep-sea fishing expeditions can also be arranged at an extra charge.

Good hotel for relaxing

Lovely hotel, located on the quiet side of Praslin. The rooms were well appointed and plenty big enough. Beach, pool & pier provided plenty of space for everyone. We were told the hotel was near full capacity but it didn't feel over-crowded or too busy. If you want to explore the island you'll need a car but that can be easily arranged. The bar staff were exceptionally attentive and we wanted for nothing. The buffet breakfast was good but the buffet dinner was a little repetitive. Only downside was that there were no other bars or restaurants in walking distance.

Praslin was our 2nd location and in my optics the most beautiful island. Coco - Black Parrot is really a nice place to stay; smartly arranged along the coast, offering luxurious room well thought of, magnetically charming terraces with beautiful panorama, rich choice of tasty food and all over excellent service. But I have to add: the real pearls of this place are its people. Our stay was made exceptional, every day again by: Ms Fiona, caring godmother and evening power of the terrace; Deep, who reeds your mind and acts on it before you speak it out loud; Venessa, who combines best of her two worlds and shares that with you; Ivy, whose towel-flower art made me love our room every time I entered; Tracy & Anna who can make little miracles in the spa; Some more fine people whose names I do not know, but who provided excellent food, delicious coctails, kind attention, soft towels, drives to other locations, etc - and all of them always being helpful, pleasant, knowledgable pro's in their role bit also just genuinly kind people. Thank you all!

The hotel is located on the quieter part of Praslin, we booked a weekend as a treat for our daughter. The room was very spacious with a huge mirror a bath and a shower. The lower part of the room has two sofa like structures that can be turned into beds if needed. The buffet breakfast had plenty of variety which left us stuffed each morning. The staff were so friendly and made us feel welcomed. The gorgeous sunset at this location is not to be missed so be sure you're at the pool side at that time.

A great experience in a fantastic hotel resort in a bit remote area. Very friendly staff made our stay a real pleasure. An extra bonus for the free offers to join a very well guided 1hour hike, to go to a great beach by bus and the kayaking and SuP…, the tea/coffee time with cookies. A bus stop for public transportation is right in front of the hotel - tickets should be bought at the airport. The food varied a lot and was really delicious. We got a nice surprise at our anniversary and appreciated it a lot. Many thanks for the wonderful memories. Praslin and the Coco de Mer are really worth a stay.

Beautiful hotel on the second largest island of the Seychelles, Praslin. Recommendable to rent a car in advance and have it handed over at the ferry or the airport, it's an easy process, of course depending on the rental company. the hotel has free parking, a very nice pool deck and access to the beach. Many other awesome beaches are only a short distance away if you get bored one day with the hotel beach. The rooms are spacious and remarkable clean with Partial direct access to the surrounding areas where you can even find the famous coco de mer with her massive nuts. Cocktails are nice and of course with a view over the sea, don't forget to visit during sunset.
