Official Description

The Hotel Chatur Playa Real Resort is located in the most exclusive tourist place in the south of Tenerife, in Costa Adeje. Very close to Playa del Duque and Fañabe beach and Siam Park. It is a hotel aimed at families and couples. Chatur Playa Real Resort offers an all-inclusive service and has 178 comfortable and spacious rooms with a separate bedroom, distributed in two buildings. The 117 junior suites are located in the main building and the 61 family rooms equipped with kitchenette are in the annex. All services and common areas are shared together to avoid limitations in the use of the facilities. There is a new pool area in the family room area with two splash pools for the children. And there are 2 more pools in the main area of the building with a small children's pool.

NOT A 4 STAR HOTEL, 3 STARS AT BEST

IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A 4 STAR EXPERIENCE…….LOOK ELSEWHERE!! If I was being generous I’d say it’s a 3 star hotel at best. Everywhere is tired and needing upgrading. 4 elevators and only one working and even then it was painfully slow and very small. Pool area ok but never saw them checking chlorine levels once through out my stay. Jacuzzi pools not in use, presumably not working. Air conditioning not working in the rooms. We were moved rooms but it made no difference. WiFi was appalling throughout the hotel but almost NON EXISTENT in the bed rooms. Food was ok but uninspiring. Food choices were limited and the same everyday for kids. Not much change. Staff were helpful enough, but difficult working with what they have. Self laundry facilities were fine. Location was quite far up a steep hill so not easy if you’re not as fit as you’d like or have mobility issues. Nearest supermarket a 10 min walk away down the slightly less steep part of the hill! All in all I could NOT recommend this hotel. It needs upgraded urgently.

Literally does what it says!

Arrived back after a 5 night stay. At first, as many were put off by the reviews. However, this hotel literally does what it says on the tin. The pool was heated, and little one loved it. Rooms are big. The only downfall was we were above the entertainment, which doesn't go on late but can be quiet nosy. Food - Again, it's 3 star your not getting the best food in the world. Don't get my wrong 10-14 nights would get too much, but if mixed up with going out, it's fine. To add eating out isn't expensive we was surprised by how cheap we could eat out. Entertainment - we actually wasn't too impressed with it at night. Not much effort. But then little one enjoyed the mini disco and that's why we went. We would visit here again.

Everything was wonderful, the staff was very attentive, the room was clean. But what I liked the most was the Mini disco for the children and Evelyn is a very friendly girl with children. Well what can I say what a disappointment. Been twice before. Really gone down hill. Entertainment was shocking, Food was shocking, Room was shocking, Bar man was a discrace to the hospitality industry. Had a do not disturbe tag on the Door they came in and left a note. Room soposd to have been cleaned one day put the do not disturb tag on next day was taken off and apparently cleened. Why put on the door when they take no notice and enter anyway. Had some chicken 1 night only chicken nothing else that day sick for 2 days. Will not be going again.

Great kids club kids loved it (10) (12) food good entertainment was warm welcoming and fun kids busy all night great quizzes and fun evening fantastic family entertainment and atmosphere .Would definitely recommend to families with kids also lots of good entertainment for adults too
