My partner and I, a couple entering our senior years, stayed for 11 nights on a bed and breakfast tariff. We were a little concerned about potential noise, having read about the night life for young people in the town. We need not have worried - the hotel is just far enough from the centre to be protected from the noise. The room was quite spacious, very comfortable and kept immaculately clean. The breakfast buffet is extensive and just off to the side a lovely lady will cook you omelettes or fried eggs and bacon or pancakes. In answer to the idiot comment about the breakfast being the same every day, I would ask how great a range is he offered at home??? The hotel is a bit cheeky about food and drinks on the beach, since the beach, like all Greek beaches, is state owned. Also the non-all-inclusive price for a litre of chilled tap water is Euro 3.80! However, if you are discreet with your bottles water, they don't hassle you. We didn't eat in the hotel, other than breakfast, but the local tavernas are good, especially The Village, Olympia and Roussos. The beach is kept spotlessly clean and the sea is very calm and very shallow for the first 40 metres or so. Water sports choices are available close by.
