Worse Hotel ever Avoid

Worse experience coming from someone who is constantly traveling to different countries and always staying in 5* luxury hotels. Very rude staff need immediate customer service training. What a waste of money. Do not recommend. Ladies at reception are very rude and have no peoples skills at all.

The view is really beautiful! Been there from sunset time, really worth it! Definitely best place to enjoy the view is the sunbed , not sure if the restaurant is worth it there. Had a table in front of the DJ, nice party too but not really wow compare to other proper beach clubs. Not sure if I will stay in the hotel, there is no privacy for guests when they are at the balcony (basically the best part with the pool) as I saw all of them just entering from the street, I was very surprised of the total lack of privacy as the rooms are very expensive.

This hotel is mismarketed. The hotel is located on a cliff just outside of old port. It is off a main road and you can hear the traffic. The hotel is not near the town of Mykonos or near a beach. The photos that they have of the pool overlooking a beautiful ocean are incorrect. When we were there in that exact spot there were 2 very large cruiseships and 2 more in the distance. I watched tenders going back and forth with tousands of people. Not the beautiful nautical scene. For the amount that this hotel charges you can surely find a hotel that has a better location with better views, your in Mykonos! Also while they say you can take their shuttle to the beach its a hassle to use the shuttle, they don't make it easy. Car service with the hotel is non existant/ or unavailable and they tell you to make your own arrangements. LOL! I would never go back. We left early and checked into another hotel and enjoyed our stay.

Amazing hotel

Super trendy hotel with the most beautiful swimming pool area in Mykonos. Gorgeous vistas overlooking the beautiful water of Mykonos - prime location - 10 minutes by foot from Mykonos town. The staff is super friendly and professional, the rooms are gorgeous and spacious, the breakfast is wonderful, as is the dinner and the ambiance in the evening is unparalleled.

Five star hype

If Instagram brought you here then i understand. However if you are unlike us and checked reviews before coming, allow me to inform you of the "behind the filter" stuff. The trip out of the port in Mykonos was the roughest one we had out of 4 ports. The hotel transport was not waiting for us, and we had to email the hotel to get a transfer to the port, not a huge deal until you remember the price you are paying. We received an apology for our troubles, no further consideration. The property itself is pretty, but not as secluded as the Instagram angles make it out to be (you are next to a road that travels the coastline as well as within earshot of the ship horns- yes, they are loud). For lunch we ate at the hotel day 1, a burger a pasta dish guacamole appetizer, and 2 cocktails, the guacamole chips were very brittle and few in comparison to the guac serving, when we asked for some more chips we were happy until we saw a +15 euro charge for bread and olives, when we mentioned this they said they would remove until the restaurant manager informed us this was the fee for more chips, the tab was over 205 euros. We stayed in the cave pool suite. Pros: nice views, cave pool makes for beautiful pictures, plenty of space for luggage, pool staff is really nice. Cons: wifi is terrible with constant disconnect, tv is very slow and cast application shuts down often. Ac struggles to remotely cool the room throughout the day (for reference we set it to 16° c and the room did not go under 22° c). Private pool water temp is cold (they like to call it refreshing). Staff is nice, but not 5 star nice, if you've stayed at a 5 star before, don't expect similar service. Water bottle at the bar was 10 euros. Breakfast was good with lots of options for a la carte, buffet, or both. My personal experience with pricy high rated hotels (like this one) is you don't usually get price gouged for everything after, this was not the case here. If you are planning a trip to Greek islands please look up caliloios on IG before reserving at cavotagoo. I still have 4 more days to go, and I'll edit accordingly but I wanted you all to hear a bit of truth.
