Castello di Cavaliere Suites

Having happened upon the "Castello dei Cavalieri" almost by chance after an evacuation from Lindos due to fires, we can say that we were very lucky: the hotel is in a quiet area a stone's throw from the center, with a beautiful swimming pool, the medieval-themed rooms are spacious and equipped with every comfort, the staff is really very friendly starting with the owner Takis who welcomed us and recommended places to visit and restaurants where we could eat well. Breakfast is plentiful and varied from sweet to savory, with the option of eating either in the indoor or outdoor dining room. Takis with his castle is the true King of Faliraki! Location: Excellent, in a walking distance from the city center. Quiet and peaceful. Takis, the owner, is very helpful and involved. Facilities: Excellent, similar with a 5* hotel. Suites near the pool can use the pool anytime. Suites on the 1st floor have a nice view of the sea and of the city. Parking: free; there are enough parking places either inside or in the front of the hotel. Restaurants: Bridges Taverna is 5 minutes walking; nice Greek taverna, with very friendly staff. Alternatively, Maria's taverna near the harbor has excellent food, fantastic hospitality, and very nice view. Two good supermarkets are also reachable either walking (15 minutes) or by car (5 minutes). Points of attraction: Faliraki beaches are nice. By car, you can reach the best beaches in Rhodes within 15 to 45 minutes. City of Rhodes is reachable by car in about 30 minutes and the airport in 20 minutes.
