Dangerous - avoid

There was no one to greet us at the Casa Coral, they had not sent us a phone number and we had to look for another hotel. We booked with Agoda but it would happen on TripAdvisor too or any other. Avoid this place !

Beautiful location and very spacious villa. Beach is great and penthouse apartment is huge with 3 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. Wifi service was surprisingly good and there were kayaks and paddle boards available as well as snorkeling gear. Only reason not 5 is that there was a few communication lapses that I think could have made it perfect. One bathroom had no shower head which was fine but we weren’t told in advance. We didn’t know what gear was supplied beforehand and had to ask. Some maintenance needs to be done to keep it as to be considered luxury. You need a car also

We had been warned several days in advance that it was 'seaweed season' and it is true that this is an issue for direct access to the sea and there is a bit of a smell. This did not detract from the amazing location. Great beach, turtles at night coming onto it. Great pool and space inside and out. A 30 second walk down the beach to get access to an area with less seaweed (though this changes daily). Paddle boards and kayaks available for personal use at all times. The apartment is well equipped, luxurious in many respects and certainly has reasonable WiFi. Close to a really good beachfront restaurant and close to the main Akumal beach area which is also superb. A fantastic three day stay.

Beautiful Place

We spent an amazing five days here in March. The rooftop pool was so relaxing and fun. The location on the beach was excellent. Jade Bay is much more quiet than Akumal Bay and is still within walking distance. We will definitely be coming back.

Very luxurious villa

We rented to apartments, top floor and first floor. The apartments are very spacious and comfortable. The beach is lovely. For swimming it is a little bit rocky. You'll need a car to get around, but other than that, it is just perfect. Most stunning sunrises from top floor master bedroom.
