The Valentine's Day Cup takes place on Bambarra Beach in the central north coast of Middle Caicos. This event centres around a sailboat race which is followed by barbecues, live music and dancing on the beach. This is a great event for families and children, especially because of the calm and shallow waters surrounding Bambarra Beach. This event takes place on the Saturday closest to the 14th of February.
There is no better way to end a peaceful day of relaxation than a sunset cruise. Sip on a cool rum punch and experience mother nature’s best gift. Picture the water ripples lighting up in blazing shades of orange and pink, as you and your loved ones watch the sun sink beyond the horizon.
Soak in the scenery while appreciating a grand historic landmark. The Grand Turk Lighthouse has stood on its small limestone hill since 1852. Although no longer operational, it is a fantastic spot for a picnic overlooking ocean. You may even catch a glimpse of some whales during this time. Donkeys are also often seen peacefully roaming the grounds.
Taylor Bay beach in Providenciales has soft powdery sands and very shallow waters. A small Ocean Point peninsula protects the beach from winds, resulting in calm and clear waters. This makes Taylor Bay a great choice for family trips, especially if you have small children. You can relax at this peaceful spot while the kids build sandcastles and splash in the warm waters.
