This beach can be found just north of the Hotel Zone and is a favourite amongst locals. It’s laid-back vibe perfectly complements the calm conditions of the turquoise water. Take a refreshing dip before having lunch at a beachfront restaurant.

Playa Chac Mool is made up of a wide stretch of pristine white sand. The calm waters here are tinted with incredible hues of blue and green, making this an irresistibly gorgeous beach.

The pristine platinum sands of Playa Langosta are perfect for strolling and taking in the fresh sea breeze. You’ll find it in the Hotel Zone, so it’s conveniently easy to get to. This beach also features a playground, perfect for little ones!

If you’re craving a truly zen vibe, visit Playa Xpu-Ha just south of Cancun. Although you’ll have to pay a small entrance fee, the sugary soft sands and blissful tranquillity of this beach are worth it. Enjoy a picnic by these serene shores or try one of the beachside restaurants.
