The first week in February every year is destinated to Bob Marley, with a host of events including concerts, fashion shows, exhibitions, lectures and much more. This celebrates Marley, a world-famous reggae music artist, activist and religious leader.
With February marking Bob Marley's birthday and all the celebrations taking place, why not take a trip down memory lane and explore Bob Marley's childhood inspiration by visiting his hometown, Nine Mile. Explore his dozy hamlet where Bob Marley was born and laid to rest, with some incredibly scenic views to enjoy along the way. You can take tours of his recording studio, with some of his best tracks written and recorded. Don't forget to try one of the legendary Jamaican Patty's from a roadside stall.
