March is quiet when it comes to festivals and events, though you might find St. Patrick's Day being observed in the Northern parishes. There’s still plenty to do find for intrepid explorers whether you’re looking to become immersed in the great cultural history of the island at the national museum, sample historic rum-making at River Antoine or just stretch out on the numerous soft sand beaches and relax.
March is one of the least humid months and one of the driest so what better time to get in the beautiful azure waters. Whether you want to lounge by the infinity pool at 473 Boutique resort, on the pearly white sands of the Grand Anse (check out the Radisson Grenada Beach Resort) or take a trip beneath the waves to the underwater sculpture park there’s no better way to escape the heat.
For avoiding the crowds, consider a stay at the Calabash Luxury Boutique Hotel. Unlike most of the larger resorts, this 5* is in Lance Aux Epines on the southern tip of the island, away from St Georges and the Grand Anse beach.
In March, Grenada has an average temperature of 26°C, with highs of 30°C and lows of 21°C. The chance of rain is lower than in previous months with an average of 62mm falling over 10 days in the month.
