Grenada hosts the annual Grenada Sailing Week festival, featuring intense, international yacht racing. The Camper & Nicholson Port Louis Marina and Secret Harbour Boutique Hotel and Marina host parties each night over the 6-day regatta. The Spice Island Billfish tournament is a premier sport fishing event in the Southern Caribbean. Even if you are not interested in fishing, it comes with 5 days of music and fabulous food all held in the Capital, St Georges.
With places to stay like the Spice Island Beach resort (Grenada's only 5 diamond AAA award winner), and the incredible hillside views at Maca Bana it can be hard to tear yourself away from the all-inclusive luxury but don’t be fooled by the island smaller size; it's rich in history, traditions, and natural produce. If you’re in St Georges for the festivals don’t forget to check out the 18th century Parliament house, or the House of Chocolate Museum.
