April doesn’t have the density of big annual events you might find in other months. The Grenada Music Festival takes place in April, May or June, with 3 nights of live music and parties. With fewer events and festivals, why not head to Levara Beach? If you’re lucky enough, you might spy the first turtles of coming ashore to lay eggs.
With fewer big festivals to draw your attention and fantastic weather, April is a spectacular month for really immersing yourself in what makes Grenada such a beautiful locale. Whether that’s reclining on the gorgeous Grand Anse, exploring the famous distilleries or sampling the sumptuous spices that give the Island its nickname. Lauras Herb and Spice Garden is a great showcase of the island's eponymous offerings and for those that enjoy a tipple, the River Antoine Distillery is a must.
In April, Grenada has an average temperature of 27°C, with highs of 31°C and lows of 22°C. Like March the chance of rain is lower than in most months with an average of 66mm falling over 7 days in the month.
