There are several events including Harbour Nights which continues on Wednesday nights throughout August, Non-Mariners Water Raft-Up, Bermuda Beach Tennis Tournament at Horseshoe Bay Beach and the Cup Match, a cricket match between two island rivals, St. George's and Somerset.
September is hurricane season in Bermuda, and while there haven’t been any serious occurrences in recent years, it is always good to check if planning a holiday at this time of year. Average temperatures can reach 27°C and water temperatures during September are warm at 28°C. September and October are considered to be the wettest months of the year. You can catch the Sandcastle Competition at Horseshoe Bay in September.
October is also in hurricane season, so it is advised to check when booking your holiday and to keep an eye on weather reports. Surfing is great at this time of year in Bermuda and temperatures are beginning to cool, with highs of 27°C.
