February Half Term

The month of February sees average highs of 24°C and lows of 16°C. Expect brief showers during this month. Clear blue skies, sapphire waters, and hours of sunshine make it the perfect time to explore the bewitching islands of the Bahamas. Easter

It is well-known that Easter is the best time of the year to visit the Bahamas. Easter in the Bahamas is when people start hitting the beaches again as the waters are warm enough to swim and relax. If you’re heading to the Bahamas at the beginning of UK summer in June, then be prepared for one of the rainiest months of the year with 170mm of rainfall on average over 14 days. Apart from marking the beginning of summer, June is also the start of hurricane season. As June ends, temperatures start to soar very high in July and August with 28°C being the highest average temperature. October Half Term

The average daytime temperature in the Bahamas during October is 30°C, though it can rise by some degrees around the islands in the south. October is usually the rainiest month in the Bahamas but can always be seen thronged with budget-conscious travellers who grab low-season deals. Witness the ever-so-vibrant Junkanoo Parade celebrated on 26th December and 1st January. December is a time when you can soak in the lovely sunshine with little chance of downpours. Even January sees comfortable weather and lets you enjoy the Junkanoo Parade to the fullest.
