Things to do in Eleuthera and Harbour Island

With sun-drenched shores, scenic stretches of beautiful beaches and an enveloping feeling of paradise, Eleuthera is a little piece of paradise. You can be an explorer, investigating Preachers Cave, or test your bravery along the glass window Bridge with spectacular views, or relax in the Queen’s Baths among the fish and pretty shells. There's a never-ending list of things to do and see in Eleuthera, but here are some of our favourite things that you cannot miss out on!

Popular attractions & excursions in Eleuthera and Harbour Island

Wild nature near a cliff on Eleuthera

Preacher’s Cave, North Eleuthera

The Eleutheran Adventures are thought to have taken refuge here after being shipwrecked. They created an alter from a boulder and held Christian services here – hence the name. The huge cave is quite something (go all the way in to see the natural sky lights), and there’s a lovely beach nearby for post-exploration picnics.

Queen’s Baths, Eleuthera

Below the cliffs, a little south of Glass Window Bridge, rock pools have been formed by Atlantic waves over eons. In calm conditions and at low tide (rough sea and high tide are no-goes), it’s possible to go down for a bath like no other – accompanied by fish and shells in sun-warmed water.
