Antigua and Barbuda are a small pair of islands located where the Caribbean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean meet. Since a tropical storm devastated Barbuda in 2017, the island had been virtually uninhabited but has returned as the quieter tropical getaway. Between December and April is the dry season, however, these are also the most popular times to holiday in Antigua and Barbuda, so to bag yourself a deal, try travelling outside peak dates. The wet season runs from mid-June to mid-November and sees short spells of heavy rainfall, but these are usually followed by clear blue skies and beaming sunshine. It is certainly more humid over these months, in particular during August and September.
