Official Description

The hotel is a resort located in the West Coast of Bali and is one of the most sought after surf breaks. on the island. Facing the beach and the surf break, the resort offers 11 luxuriously appointed rooms targeting the lovers of the ocean, the beach, the surf and relaxation. A Surfer’s Paradise

My wife and I stayed at Bombora Medewi on our honeymoon. Our initial draw was the long left point that sits directly out front of the hotel. After five days at the hotel, we didn’t want to leave! The staff at the hotel became family and were extremely kind and considerate our entire stay. The food from the kitchen, especially the chicken sandwich ice cream cookie sandwich hit the spot perfectly after every surf session. Nothing better than watching the sunset in the infinity pool looking over the surfbreak. It was a dream listening to the crashing of the waves outside of the room at night while going to bed. We have been home for a few months now and still turn to one another most days and daydream about being back at Bombora Medewi.

Disappointed

I had a very disappointing experience at this place. After a surf session, I politely asked to use the toilet, but they refused unless I bought something. I didn’t have any money with me at the time, as I had just come from the ocean. Instead of showing basic hospitality and understanding, they turned me away. For a beachfront establishment that benefits from the surf community, this kind of attitude is disappointing. Many other places in Bali are much more welcoming. I wouldn’t recommend this spot if you value good service and kindness.

Blissful Bombora

This was our second visit to Bombora Medewi. It felt returning home. Everyone is so welcoming. The staff are always there for any of your needs. There is no better location. Right on the point. We booked the Residence again. Lying in the private pool for sunset - there is nothing better. We loved our stay - see you guys next year
