Nightmare. Don't ever rent here. Nasty roaches and spiders everywhere. This management company tries to kick you off the property so they can re-rent the unit twice because they get the extra fee. 125 calls to 911 Emergency from this Resort have occurred in the past two years, this is a low crime area since Disney is all around. The attached Orange County Sheriff records show that most of them are the resort calling to have the guests removed for made up charges, but almost none of them turn into a Case Number. But they use that "Narrative" to have you removed, then they re-rent your unit for double the fee. Our owner was shocked, and the booking website is looking into legal action. The owners and the management company are fighting all the time. The owners claim they can smoke all over the property, even though there are no smoking signs—horrible vacation experience. They broke into our 80's parents' unit at 1 am and forced them to pack and leave. We had to file a police report because items were missing. 2 dozen eggs, 2 six packs of Peroni N/A beer, and more were stolen from our refrigerator. More items were taken from our room. Unsafe for retirees. Stay away.

Our 7th stay to the Blue Heron. We love it here. We stay in the 2 bed deluxe always in tower 2 which has balconies to the front & rear of the property. Decor a bit dated, but rooms are always clean. Set back from the main road. Lake setting is beautiful, pool area never too crowded. Staff are great. Location is amazing, 5 minutes drive to Disney Springs, Vineland Outlet & Buena Vista Outlet. Minutes from Interstate 4, main road to lots of attractions. Less than 10 minutes drive to Vineland Pointe, new retail area with Orlando's 2nd Cheesecake Factory. Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts, Subway & Dollar tree beside Blue Heron. Mini golf in front of Blue Heron. Across the road, McDonalds, Walgreens, Wendy's & Chick-fil-A Disney parks 15 min drive, 15 min to Sea World & Discovery Cove, Universal less than 20 min Would highly recommend, will be back here next year!!

we thought we were smart booking a two week stay at blue heron in advance (10 months), paid a days deposit, all set ready to go, then out of the blue we were refunded our deposit, no email , nothing then we find that blue heron are advertising only much more expensive so we think we have been GAZUMPED don't take anything they say for granted !!

Stunning Views - Great Resort

My experience renting a 19th-floor "2-bedroom" condo at Blue Heron Beach Resort was fantastic! The unit offered stunning views of Lake Bryan and the resort's two inviting pools from the spacious balcony. Keycard access to elevators and the staircases on either side ensured security. While the condo had a true master suite with an ensuite bathroom, the second "bedroom" consisted of bunk beds tucked into a hallway closet next to a convenient washer/dryer. However, the well-appointed kitchen, beautiful living room, and floor-to-ceiling windows leading to the expansive balcony more than compensated for the sleeping arrangements. The resort itself was a true oasis, with amenities like a poolside bar, diverse dining options, a convenience store, boat rentals, scenic walking trails, and ample parking. The furnished condo was a steal at $2500 per month, including the deposit. Whether you're seeking a relaxing vacation or a furnished monthly rental, Blue Heron Beach Resort offers a truly unique and enjoyable experience. It's a gem in Orlando, and I highly recommend it!

We spent two nights here after having an Airbnb on Anna Marie Island. It’s not fair to compare so I won’t do that, just offering up the facts. This property is in a great location, has a very big and beautiful pool with a couple of kiddie pools and hot tub. The inside of the condo was a pretty big disappoint as it has not been updated since it was built in 2006. Many of the outlets don’t work so charging your phone overnight probably isn’t going to happen. The TV in the master bedroom was not a smart TV so no streaming. The furniture and throw pills are very uncomfortable and dirty. Stains on both the couch and pillows. AC did not work the best. Cleanliness also not best. If you want average with a great view and location, this is your place. There is so much potential here, but an investment needs to be made to bring this property into the times. Will not stay here again until improvements have been made.

In-suite amenities include flat-screen TVs with DVD players, high-speed internet, washer and dryer, and Jacuzzi-jetted tub in the master bath. Resort amenities include two heated pools, a kid’s pool, an outdoor hot tub, a fitness center, a game room, access to the miniature golf course adjacent to the hotel, and water sports available from our own docks on Lake Bryan. Services include a complimentary shuttle to the major theme parks. Parking is free. Our full-service concierge can help you with attraction tickets, and/or restaurant reservations.
