We stayed at this hotel in Mahé, Seychelles, and our experience was truly positive from every point of view. The property enjoys an enviable position: it overlooks a beautiful, quiet beach, perfect for relaxing or taking a walk at sunset. An added value is definitely the swimming pool, ideal for a regenerating swim after returning from the sea. Excellent towel service and the little bar along the beach. The breakfast buffet was perfect, satisfying all tastes, from sweet to savory (There is even the option of having an omelette made on the spot. The room was simple, clean and equipped with everything you need, perfectly in line with the price paid. It was an excellent base to enjoy the island in total comfort. The only negative note is that these rooms do not have an elevator. During our stay we often dined in the hotel restaurant, called "Pizzeria", and we were pleasantly surprised. The food was tasty and well prepared, with generous portions. Among the dishes that won us over the most was definitely the smoked fish, truly exquisite and cooked with great care. A special thanks goes to the wonderful team at the Pizzeria, who helped make our experience even more special. Everyone welcomed us with kindness, helpfulness and sincere smiles, making us feel at home. In particular we want to say thanks to: - Pawan, the chef - Sharafdeem, the chef - Raza - Madalitso - Alina I apologize if the names are not written perfectly – I am Italian and I may have transcribed them inaccurately – but our thanks are sincere! We recommend this hotel to those looking for a relaxing holiday, in a welcoming environment, with excellent food and a team that works with passion.

We had an awesome stay at Berjaya, Mahé which was fillled with thrills and reschedulings causing extension of stay. Berjaya Mahé is an excellent property ready with all amenities and facilities. As soon as I checked in after transfers from Praslin, realized I dropped my phone somewhere on the way and Mr. Tikaram Bishwakarna, head of security who was doing the rounds realized that a fellow Indian is in need and stepped in voluntarily to help with the issue. In charge Mr. Prem Singh Luhar allowed Mr. Tikaram to go with us to assist in retriving the phone and later again for making a bank transaction at home. Along with a Pizzeria and a Chinese themed restaurant this resort has an amazing Indian restaurant as well, where team of Anil Kumar at service and kitchen managed by chefs Abid and Nawaz serve the best Indian meals ever. They were more than happy to custom our meals as per taste and dietary restrictions observed by individuals. Service by Pradeep in the chinese and their chef were equally good.. Since we were on our honeymoon I wished for a date night and Nexi steped in to curate a beautiful dinner date with senset. Salim served us beautifully and made our moment feel so special.. Not to forget Gheeyan and Aditya Patel at the reception and Michelle at the scuba centre. Sharing a few pictures from our stay here. If you a desi Indian and can't live without indian hospitality standards for long, this is the place we should be. We chose Berjaya over other bigger brands thoughtfully and the entire team there proved the decision to be correct !! This place thrives over its service quality and the warmth extended by the staff most of whom i realized consider it as their home as they have been here for as long as 15 years and their 2nd generations joining in like Mr. Prem's son Raj and numerous others. Important takeaways before you make a booking here- 1. None of the rooms are with a seaview 2. Property is fully equipped with 3 restaurants, a scuba centre, water sports centre, bars, lounges, casino, party and conference halls, spa, giant tortoises etc. 3. Overall the property is more than 50 yrs old and you can feel it. Few sections are so thin walled that u can hear the neighbouring room's couple making out. 4. Room service, bars, restaurants, reception everything is on the mark

I had the pleasure of being served by Pratap Bishwanath during my stay at Berjaya Hotel and I must say, the service was exceptional. He took the time to explain the menu, offered great recommendations, and ensured our dining experience was smooth and enjoyable.
